- Have a quick overview of the DILR section through all the sets and select 2 to 3 sets that are easily doable
- When you make your selection of the sets, ensure that you solve all of them correctly
- If you are stuck in one question, leave it out and concentrate on the one that can be done. Its better to leave than to be occupied with one question
- If possible try using table, graphs, charts and grids to solve the questions
- During your preparation phase have a good grip on concepts like venn diagram, ratio and proportion, binary logic, Spider Model etc. You can take note that, the more your basics are clear the chances of solving DILR questions are better
- If you have a set which is lengthy, completely avoid that question. It has been observed in most cases that students who have tried solving lengthy sets have made mistakes or have taken a lot of time.
- Take note that questions related to maximisation and minimisation do not have an unique answer
