Odisha BEd 2024 counseling process is discussed below. The counseling is expected to begin in August 2024 in four rounds.

• Visit the official website and register yourself for the counseling process by filling the counseling form and paying the counseling fees. Only candidates who have qualified for the exam will be allowed to fill the counselling form.
• After the counselling registration is done, candidates have to fill their preferred college choices. The seat allotment will be done based on the basis of priority in which the candidates have filled the choice of college. Candidates also have to lock their choices before the due date, or else the last filled choice will automatically be locked on the last day.
• After the counselling invitation letter has been received candidates will be required to sit for the counselling process wherein they will be allocated a seat based on merit, seat availability and choices filled.
• Once the seat has been allocated, candidates are advised to report the college and fulfill further admission formalities.

• Caste Certificates for SC, ST, and SEBC applicants by virtue of birth. Certificates should not be based on marriage or adoption and be generated from the e-district portal.
• UDID Disability Certificate given online in case of PwD candidates.
• Ex-serviceman Certificate for son/ unmarried daughter/ spouse of Ex-serviceman/ self.

Odisha B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024 Counselling Guidelines

• Candidates must take utmost care while filling out the counselling registration form.
• The payment process has to be finished online.
• The students will be allocated BEd institutions and colleges based on the score achieved on the entrance test, taking into account both stream-wise factors and the social category.
• Even candidates who have not updated their marks of graduation will be counted in the selection process. However, in case of a tie, they will be placed below in the selection list compared to applicants who have provided their graduation marks.
• The students are urged to specify their preferred institutions in order of their priority. They will be ranked per their merit, seat availability in their individual streams and category, and their locking of college choices.
• The chosen aspirants will be informed through SMS to obtain their Intimation letter needed for admission, and then they have to report to that specific college to complete the formalities for admission.
• Depending on whether the admission went through or not, the college will mark the student as admitted / absent / rejected / observation in their college login.
• Candidates who opted for Slide-Up will be shifted to the college per their web choice submitted while choice locking. However, it is crucial that there is a vacancy in that particular institution, in the stream and the reservation category.
• The Slide-Up Option Form will be enabled in the student’s login for candidates who take enrolment in the allocated college during the first admission selection. Via the form, they will be able to submit their OTP-based approval for participation in the next selection round’s Slide-Up process.
• The total number of seats following the category shall be portioned out to Arts and Science discipline aspirants on an equal basis (50:50).
• De-reservation of seats will not be done until the selection process’ final round.
• If the authorities do not find any eligible students from the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) category at the final selection round, then those seats reserved for ESM will be modified to their corresponding social categories.
• Candidates will find institution-wise details of vacancies on the website of the conducting body.

Once the Odisha BEd 2024 results will be released, all the candidates who have qualified the exam will have to undergo counselling process.
