GATE 2025 AR Qualifying Cutoff Marks: IIT Roorkee released the GATE AR qualifying cutoff marks 2025 separately for the General, SC/ST/PwD, and OBC/EWS students with GATE results. The GATE 2025 AR qualifying for the general category is 40, for OBC/EWS is 36, and for ST/ST/PwD is 26.6. If you score the minimum qualifying marks, only then you will be eligible for the counseling rounds to get admission to top the GATE 2025 participating colleges . The GATE 2025 cutoff marks is determined based on multiple factors like the number of examinees, the total seats available in the colleges, the overall difficulty level of the GATE 2025 exam , and the cutoff mark trends from the past few years. Every year, around 9,000 to 10,000 students appear in the GATE Architecture and Planning exam but less than 3,000 manage to pass the test. In 2024, the number of students who appeared for the GATE Architecture and Planning paper was 9,080. The GATE AR cutoff 2025 for general category has been released. The GATE cutoff for the Architecture and Planning paper has changed significantly over the years. When is the GATE 2025 AR exam?

The GATE 2025 AR exam has been held on 2nd February 2025 (Sunday) in the forenoon shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.   

How many students appear for GATE architecture?

On average, around 9,000-10,000 students appear in the GATE Architecture and Planning exam. In recent years, the GATE 2021 exam had the most students appearing in the Architecture and Planning exam with 10,857.

Who is eligible for GATE counseling?

All the students who meet the required qualifying GATE 2025 AR cutoff marks in the GATE result 2025 are eligible to appear in the GATE 2025 counseling process. 

Can I get IIT with 40 marks in the GATE AR exam?

A score of 40 is too low to be considered for IITs. To get into IITs, students must secure at least 200 marks in the GATE 2025 exam. 

What is the cut-off for GATE Architecture and Planning 2024?

The category-wise cutoff marks for the GATE 2024 Architecture and Planning paper were 41.5, 27.6, and 37.3 respectively for the General, SC/ST, and OBC/EWS categories.

What is a good GATE score for architecture?

Generally, a score of more than 500 marks is considered a decent score in the GATE exam. However, to secure a top college like IIT or NIT, students must secure at least a score of 200.
