GATE 2023 Cutoff

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur is releasing the GATE 2023 qualifying cutoff marks and GATE results for all 29 subject examinations. Candidates can view the GATE 2023 cutoff on the official website as well as on this page. To be eligible for admissions in top institutes accepting GATE 2023, every candidate must clear the GATE exam cutoff list.

Candidates should be aware that the GATE 2023 cutoff is different for each of the 29 topic examinations. GATE Cut off 2023 is published as the minimal qualifying marks necessary to qualify for GATE 2023. This is referred to as the GATE qualifying cut off 2023. Using the GATE 2023 college predictor, qualified applicants may forecast the list of suitable M.Tech institutions. Candidates who meet the cut-off will be eligible for COAP or CCMT counselling.

Furthermore, the GATE 2023 cutoff differs per candidate group. Candidates who score higher than the GATE cutoff marks 2023 in their respective groups are eligible to apply to M.Tech programmes provided by GATE test participating institutes. Candidates must, however, meet the GATE 2023 admission cutoff of different institutions in order to be admitted.

Factors Determining GATE Cut-off

Opportunities After GATE 2023 Result

The opportunities that present themselves before the candidates after the declaration of the GATE result are listed below -

  • M.Tech admission in reputed institutions - When the GATE Exam 2023 results are declared and the candidates are selected in the merit lists, they can apply for M.Tech admission at any of the seven IITs or private colleges throughout India. It's the most prevalent entry point, and every engineer desires to take advantage of it. With a strong GATE score, the candidates will be eligible for M. Tech studies, stipends, and other academic perks and privileges at the nation's finest MTech engineering colleges. The candidates can get several nice career prospects after finishing M. Tech. GATE can be a critical step toward engineering students securing a prosperous career
  • Apply for jobs in the PSUs - Several PSUs employ individuals with high GATE scores. GATE scores are used by more than 200 public sector organisations (PSUs) to select engineering students, including BHEL, IOCL, NPCIL, ONGC, and NTPC. PSU positions for GATE certified students provides an exceptional wage package, a good work-life balance, and other advantages like reimbursements, discounted rates, quarters to stay, help for their children's further education, PFs, pensions, and more. The bulk of students want to be accepted for various PSUs, and even if they are picked for M. Tech, they continue to study for the GATE examination scheduled next year. The PSU recruiting process includes a legitimate GATE score, a group discussion, and a personal interview (PI). The weightage accorded to the GATE score ranges between 75% and 85%
  • Admission into PhD - M. Tech degree is no longer required to be considered for Ph. D programmes. If the candidates have a B. Tech degree and a decent GATE score, they can apply for Ph. D programmes immediately. Research possibilities abroad, stipends throughout Ph. D courses and career prospects as an associate professor at IITs and IIITs are among the many advantages of pursuing a Ph. D. degree
  • MS Admission through GATE - If the candidates want to study abroad, they shouldn't be concerned about GRE and TOEFL scores. Some overseas colleges consider GATE scores for admission of Indian students. GATE score should not be more than 3 years old on the date the candidates apply to take admission in colleges abroad and the GATE percentage should be 90% or above
  • Job Opportunities in the State Electricity Boards - Various State Electricity Boards now accept GATE scores for recruitment purposes these days. Earlier, they used to follow an entrance-based selection process. Interested candidates can apply easily for the vacant positions through their GATE registration numbers
