GATE 2020 Counselling Process

GATE 2020 counselling process will be conducted to provide admissions to those candidates who have qualified the GATE 2020 entrance exam with the minimum qualifying marks. For the year 2020, the Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) will conduct a centralized counselling procedure of their own to induct eligible students who appeared in the GATE 2020 exam.

The GATE 2020 counselling process will differ as per the type of Institute selected by the candidates. For example, to secure a spot in any of the IITs via the GATE counselling process 2020, the candidates have to register themselves for the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) and based on the GATE 2020 scores, the admission to eligible candidates will be offered. However, for admission into Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and National Institute of Technology (NITs), the candidates have to register themselves, first, for Centralized Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT).

There will be several other state and private Institutes all across the country who will conduct their own counselling process based on the scores obtained by the candidates in GATE 2020.

To ensure that the candidates do not miss out on any important information regarding the counselling process for GATE 2020, CollegeDekho will keep this page updated with relevant information once the GATE 2020 result is announced.
