Do's and Don'ts of Karnataka PGCET 2023 Option Entry:  Karnataka PGCET 2023 qualified candidates will be eligible to take part in the Karnataka PGCET option entry process 2023. During the option entry process of Karnataka PGCET 2023, the candidates are required to provide their college and course choices from the available college and course options. The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is conducted for candidates seeking admission into various postgraduate degree programmes such as M.Tech, MCA, M.Arch and MBA offered by reputed Karnataka PGCET 2023 participating colleges. Without further delay, let us look at the list of “Do’s” and “Donts” for the candidates participating in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 option entry process. 

List of Do’s During the Karnataka PGCET Option Entry 2023

Here is the list of “Do’s” for the candidates participating in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 option entry process - 

  • The candidates just preserve their secret key till the seat allotment process concludes

  • The candidates must make a list of the colleges in which they wish to apply for admission before the beginning of the option entry process for the Karnataka PGCET

  • While filling the Karnataka PGCET online option entry form, the candidates must refer to the list they have prepared containing the name of all the colleges they desire

  • As there is no limit to the number of options a candidate can provide, it is advised that the candidates must provide the maximum number of options 

  • In case of applying for multiple courses, the candidates must make sure their highest priority courses get the highest priority number during the option filling process

  • Higher priority numbers should be given to those colleges that are preferred highly by the candidates

  • The candidates must also make sure to do some research regarding the colleges like visiting their official websites, visiting colleges, getting information about the colleges from the existing or previous students before applying for admission

  • The candidates must make changes in their options accordingly after the mock allotment is declared (in case they were not allocated seats as per their first choice) 

  • The candidates must not forget to consider the previous years’ cutoff scores, location preferences, course preference etc. while filling out the option entry form for Karnataka PGCET 2023

List of Don'ts During the Karnataka PGCET Option Entry 2023 

Here is the list of “Don'ts” for the candidates participating in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 option entry process - 

  • The candidates must not share any of their Karnataka PGCET candidates credentials like the secret key and the password with anybody else

  • The candidates refrain from filling out the option form without a comprehensive knowledge of the previous years’ Karnataka PGCET cutoff scores

  • If the rank of the candidate is 10,000, he/she should not choose those colleges in the options form whose closing rank or cutoff score has been below 10,000 in the last 2-3 years

  • In case the candidates do not get allocated colleges of their choices in the mock allotment round, they must rearrange their options only after comprehensively going through the mock round cutoff scores
