Candidates appearing for the document verification round of Karnataka PGCET needs to submit some of the documents decided by the examination body. All the documents required during the counselling process of Karnataka PGCET are provided here.

Karnataka PGCET was conducted on October 13 and 14, 2020. The counselling process of Karnataka PGCET is expected to be started soon. Candidates who have scored well in the Karnataka PGCET examination will be able to take part in the counselling process of Karnataka PGCET. They will have to register themselves on the official website in order to participate in the counselling process. 

It should be noted that the counselling process will involve various steps including registration, verification of documents, choice filling, seat allotment and fee submission. Documents Required for Karnataka PGCET Counselling

Provided below is the list of all the documents that will be required for Karnataka PGCET counselling. Candidates are advised to carry the original copy as well as at least 2 xeroxes of all the documents/ certificates provided below.

  • Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate

  • Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet

  • Class 12th Mark Sheet

  • Class 10th Mark Sheet

  • Caste/ Caste Income Certificate

  • Candidate’s Study Certificate

  • Two passport size photograph

  • GATE Scorecard (if applicable)

  • PGCET Admission ticket/Hall Ticket

  • Printout of the PGCET 2020 application form

Apart from the documents listed above, candidates will be required to submit some additional documents as listed below. These documents will depend on the program they are applying for admission.

  • Candidates applying for admission in part-time courses will have to submit a work experience letter of 3 years. The work experience letter must have included the date of joining, name of the organisation, designation and  working period

  • Those who are applying for M.Tech on the basis of GATE scores must submit the GATE scorecard

  • Candidates belonging to any reserved category need to submit Caste Certificate / Income Certificate/ Caste Income Certificate obtained from the concerned Tahasildar

  • Candidates applying for Hyderabad-Karnataka Region (Article 371 (j)) will have to submit the certificate in Annexure – A (eligibility certificate – rule 3(3)) assigned by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification

  • Parent’s Hometown certificate(Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card) / Parent’s study certificate for the aspirants claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the study/ (domicile)/(employment) of the parent.

Dear Student,

It is very important to be careful while filling your Karnataka PGCET OMR sheets as wrong filled information can be rejected by the OMR machine. However, you don't need to worry as it may not be the case for you. See, for Karnataka PGCET type A, there are 10 courses while for type B, there is only one course which is Mathematics and Computer Science.
