Marks Distribution for MH CET 2026 Law Legal Aptitude Section

For MH CET Law exam, legal aptitude section is quite important as 24 questions are asked for 3 years MH CET Law exam and 32 questions are asked for 5 years exam with all questions comprising of 1 mark. 


 

The legal aptitude section ofMH CET 2026 Law examis quite important as it plays a crucial role in determining whether you got the aptitude for a career in the legal field. Not only does this section test your legal knowledge and reasoning ability but it will also test your awareness of the legal and constitutional principles, legal concepts and dimensions and finally how you apply your reasoning skills in daily situations. For the 2026 exam he changes in the exam pattern for both 3 yrs and 5 yrs exam of MH CET Law is there will be 24 questions comprising of 24 marks out of 120 and for 5 years exam there will be 32 questions comprising of 32 marks out of 120.   • Mainly the questions were from Indian Constitution and Indian Polity particularly Supreme Court and High Court
  • Key topics that were asked were Fundamental Rights (Articles 14, 19, 21), Law of Torts (Negligence, Vicarious Liability), and Indian Contract Act.
  • 2025 paper saw an introduction to contemporary topics like Cybercrime, Right to Privacy, and Insolvency Law.
  • As compared to 2024 paper, 2025 exam was a shift towards one liners and direct factual questions

  • The level of difficulty was moderate for this year
  • Mainly the question paper was based on a mix of legal application and knowledge with questions mainly comprising from topics like Criminal Law (IPC/BNS transitions), Landmark Judgments (e.g., Kesavananda Bharati), and Legal Maxims (e.g., Damnum Sine Injuria).

  • The overall difficulty level of legala aptitude section in the exam was quite easy
  • This year as reported by Rohan while solving the questions was more of static GK
  • The key topics that were asked in 2023 was Basic structure of the Constitution, Preamble, and simple Contract law principles (Offer and Acceptance).
  • When we asked Rohan about his views of the 2023 paper, he said - "Very easy paper. Anyone practising standard LLB guides will get 70% of the paper common. There was no surprise at all"
