MH CET Law 2026 is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell to grant admission to qualified aspirants to the offered courses, such as 3-year LLB & 5-Year LLB courses in the participating colleges in the state.
Maharashtra CET Cell has issued an official notice on March 17, 2026, on the https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ website. This is regarding the release of the "Exam City Intimation Slip PDF" before the final hall tickets. The notice is advanced information to help you before you appear for the exam. This intimation is not your MH CET Law 2026 admit card, because it specifically informs you of the city in which your examination centre will be located. The official hall ticket will have details of your exam venue and will be available in your candidate login around three to four days before your exam date. You are advised to download the intimation slip to confirm your allotted district and keep visiting the official website for the admit card release.
The CET Cell authorities have released the schedule of the MH CET Law 2026 exam, both for 3-year and 5-year courses, on its official website. As per the official notification, MH CET Law 3 yrs 2026 will be conducted on April 1 and 2, 2026 and the MH CET Law 5 yrs 2026 will be conducted on May 8, 2026.
The application form for the 5-year LLB was released on January 8, 2026 and the 3-year LLB course on January 9, 2026. The last date to apply for the MH CET 2026 3-Year LLB was on March 3, 2026 (closed). The 5-year LLB course application registration is extended till March 31, 2026. The application correction window for the 3-Year LLB is now closed. However, the 5-Year LLB correction window date is yet to be announced.
To apply for 5-Year LLB, aspirants must have completed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board with at least 45% marks in aggregate for Open, SEBC, EWS, and OMS categories. Those from the SC and ST categories belonging to Maharashtra State must have secured 40% marks in the Senior Secondary examination. The courses available for 5 Yrs LLB are BBA-LL. B., BLS-LL.B., B.A.-LL.B. Applicants from the Open, OMS, SEBC and EWS categories must have finished graduation (10+2+3-year) and/ or post graduation (10+2+3+2/3 year) in any stream with at least 45% marks. There is a relaxation of 5% marks for those applying from the SC and ST categories from Maharashtra State.
