SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines:SNAP 2023 was conducted on December 10, 17 and 22, 2023. Candidates who appear for the SNAP exam must spend months in SNAP Preparation. To ensure that all of your hard work is rewarded, it is important to prepare yourself for the exam day as well. The SNAP admit card 2023 was released on December 4, 2023, for SNAP Test 1, and for Tests 2 and 3, it was released on December 9, 2023. SIU released comprehensive SNAP 2023 exam day guidelines to help candidates navigate themselves on exam day. It is important to prepare yourself well for the day of the examination. SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: Admit Card Instructions

The SNAP admit card serves as an entry ticket to the examination center and candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre without the same. The SNAP 2023 admit card will contain essential details such as the candidate's name, photograph, signature, registration number, and roll number. The admit card provides information about the SNAP examination, such as the date, time, and duration of the exam. It also mentions the reporting time, which is when candidates need to be present at the exam centre.

The admit card specifies the examination center where the candidate has been allocated to take the SNAP exam. It includes the complete address of the center along with any additional instructions or guidelines for reaching the venue. The admit card also contains important SNAP 2023 exam day guidelines and instructions that candidates must follow on the day of the examination. These instructions may include rules related to document verification, prohibited items, dress code, and any specific guidelines for the exam.

Candidates can download the admit card from the official website of Symbiosis International (Deemed) University or the SNAP exam's official website. All candidates must bring a printout of their SNAP Admit Cards to the examination centre for verification purposes. Here are some of the important instructions regarding the SNAP 2023 admit card, specified by the conducting authority.

  • SNAP 2023 admit card will be available for download from the official website i.e. snaptest.org on the dates mentioned above.

  • Candidates must take acoloured print outof their admit cards and bring it to the exam centre. A black and white printout or a digital copy will not be considered valid.

  • Thelatest passport size colour photoof the candidate must be pasted on the Admit Card in the space provided. Candidates must paste a recent photograph no older than 3 months from the date of the examination.

  • Along with the admit card, candidates must carry an ID proof to the examination centre. Given below is a list of documents that the candidate must carry.

ID Proof Accepted at SNAP Exam Centre

Given below is a list of ID proof documents accepted by the conducting body. Carry any one of the following to the exam centre.

  • Aadhar Card / Full-Page Printout of E-Aadhar Letter

  • Driving License

  • Passport

  • Voter ID Card

  • PAN Card

  • The following important information will be mentioned on the admit card of a candidate:

    • Name of the Candidate

    • Roll No.

    • Exam Centre and Timing etc.

  • Candidates mustget the SNAP Admit Card stampedby the invigilator on the exam day. Candidates must keep the admit card safe until the admission process has been completed.

  • Keeping the original admit card safe is very important as SIU does not issue a duplicate admit card in any case.

  • Candidates must note that after they have paid the SNAP application fee, no requests for change of exam centres will be accepted.

  • Candidates are advised to locate the examination centres one day before the exam. Candidates must ensure that they make the necessary arrangements to reach the exam centre beforehand.

  • Candidates must make any necessary arrangements for travel and accommodation themselves. For candidates appearing in a different city, this may or may not be required.

SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines

Given below are some of the important guidelines issued by Symbiosis International University (SIU) to be followed on the day of the SNAP 2023 exam.

  • The candidate must reach the examination center at least two hours before the reporting time mentioned on the SNAP 2023 admit card. Candidates must be at their examination centers by 12:00 PM since the SNAP 2023 exam is scheduled from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Under no circumstances will a candidate be permitted to enter the exam center after 1:30 PM.

  • Candidates must bring their admit cards to the exam center. No candidate will be allowed to enter without their SNAP admit card. The candidates must carry a printed copy of their SNAP admit card to the examination center. They must ensure that all the details on the admit card are correct and that their photographs are clear and recognizable.
  • Along with the SNAP 2023 admit card, candidates must also bring a valid photo ID proof (original and photocopy) issued by the government, such as an Aadhar card, Passport, PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, etc. The name on the ID proof should match the name on the admit card.
  • Candidates must also bring a black/blue basic ballpoint pen for rough work and signing the attendance form.
  • Candidates will be required to go through a verification of their SNAP 2023 admit card and ID proof before they are allowed inside the exam center.
  • Candidates must also be prepared for biometric registration (image and fingerprint data capture) at the exam center which may include capturing their photographs and fingerprints for verification purposes.
  • Candidates must not carry any electronic gadgets, calculators, watches (analog or digital), mobile phones, bags, study material, or any other prohibited items inside the exam hall. If a candidate brings any of these items, they may have to arrange for the safekeeping of these items themselves.
  • It is important for the candidates to familiarize themselves with the SNAP exam pattern and instructions in advance, as well as understand the marking scheme, the number of sections, and the duration of the exam.
  • Candidates must listen carefully to the invigilator's instructions at the examination centres before the exam begins and follow them. It is crucial to clarify any doubts or questions candidates may have before the exam starts.
  • Candidates must use the provided OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) sheet only or a computer-based answer sheet to mark their responses and follow the instructions on how to mark answers correctly. Rough work can be done on the provided rough sheets. Candidates are required to submit their answer sheets and rough sheets to the invigilator before leaving the examination hall.
  • Invigilators will ask for a candidate's admit card and ID proof for authentication.

  • The exam duration will be 60 minutes.

  • No candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall before the entire exam duration is over.

  • Candidates can attempt the sections in SNAP 2023 in any order.

  • The conducting body has specified that no extra time will be provided to a candidate (except DA) under any circumstances.

  • The scores received by a candidate will be final and candidates will not be allowed to apply for revaluation.

SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: Items Prohibited inside Exam Hall 

Below is a list of common items that are generally prohibited on SNAP 2023 exam day:
  • Electronic Devices such as mobile phones, smartphones, smartwatches, fitness bands, calculators, digital watches, or any other electronic communication devices.
  • Bags or purses
  • Study Material, textbooks, notes, or any written material
  • Stationery like pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, or rough sheets (apart from a black or blue ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet)
  • Jewellery including earrings, necklaces, rings, or bracelets
  • Food and Drink (except water in a transparent bottle) 
  • Analog and digital watches

SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: Events After Reaching Test Lab

  • The exam centre staff will verify the candidate's picture identity and SNAP admit card 2023 at the entry gate.
  • To allocate a computer lab, the staff will scan the barcode present on the admit card.
  • Take a look at the seat numbers that are displayed outside the designated computer lab. Verify your seat number on the displayed page by the 'System Number' provided next to your name.
  • After that, a thumb impression and a photograph of the face will be captured as part of the biometric information being collected.
  • The applicants must proceed to their terminal by their system number after signing the attendance register.
  • Wait until the invigilator confirms you may touch the computer. Await instructions before beginning the test.

SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines for Differently Abled Candidates

Differently Abled candidates appearing for SNAP 2023 must take note of the following test guidelines issued by the conducting body.

  • Different Abled candidates appearing for SNAP 2023 must contact the Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) with scanned copies of the Medical Certificate. The Medical Certificate can be sent via mail at info@snaptest.org.

  • The Medical Certificate will be required to verify the percentage of disability of a candidate.

  • Candidates who fail to produce a Medical Certificate will be required to appear for the exam under Open Category.

  • A differently abled candidate who requires a scribe must make arrangements for the scribe themselves. The conducting body does not provide a scribe to any candidate.

  • Additionally, the scribe selected by the candidate must have at least completed matriculation (Class 10th) and at most, he/she must be in the 2nd year of a graduate degree course.

SNAP 2023 Exam Day Guidelines: Things Not to Do

Here are some things not to do on SNAP exam day to ensure a smooth and successful exam experience:

  • Avoid arriving late at the SNAP 2023 examination centre. 
  • Do not forget to carry a printed copy of your SNAP admit card to the exam centre since it is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall.
  • Do not carry prohibited items such as electronic gadgets, study material, bags, jewelry, or any other items that are not allowed inside the exam hall.
  • Do not ignore the instructions given out by the invigilators.
  • Do not panic since panicking can affect your performance negatively.
  • Candidates should not use any unfair means during the SNAP exam 2023. Any candidate who is found using unfair means will be disqualified for admission and will not receive the SNAP 2023 Scorecard.
  • During and after the exam, refrain from discussing or sharing answers with other candidates. It is against the exam's rules and might get you disqualified.
  • Do not spend too much time on one question.
  • If your exam is completed, wait until the specified time before leaving the examination hall. Early departure from the testing centre might cause inconvenience to other candidates and be against the rules of the SNAP exam.
