SNAP 2025 Selection Process

As part of the SNAP 2025 selection process, participating colleges follow two steps after the exam is conducted. The first step is taking the SNAP 2025 exam, followed by participating in either the Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), or Personal Interaction (PI) rounds. Candidates who meet the cutoff for their chosen institutes are selected for further admission rounds. The SIBM Pune interview calls will be announced in January 2026. Candidates scoring above 98.35 percentile in the SNAP will be shortlisted for the GE and WAT-PI rounds. The SNAP 2025 exam will be scheduled on December 6, 14 and 20, 2025. The SNAP 2025 results will be announced on January 9, 2026.

The shortlist of candidates qualifying for the PI round will be released in the first week of February 2026, with the SNAP 2025 selection process commencing in the third week of February 2026. Seat allotment is based on a merit list, and candidates will have the option to withdraw from the counselling process if they choose to do so during the SNAP 2025 selection process.

• During SNAP 2025 registration, candidates must specify their preferred MBA courses and SIU institutes.
• Candidates are required to pay a fee of INR 1,000 per SIU institute they apply to during the SNAP registration cum application.
• Application to SIU institutes will not be possible after the SNAP 2025 registration closes.
• Each SIU institute conducts the SNAP admission process separately for each program.
• Invitations for Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Tests will be based on SNAP 2025 cutoffs for the specific academic year.
• SIU institutes will individually establish admission cutoffs, guided by their unique requirements and parameters.
• Depending on their overall SNAP 2025 cutoff percentile, candidates may be shortlisted for multiple programs and must participate in the selection process for each course separately.

Step-Wise SNAP 2025 Selection Process

The SNAP 2025 shortlisting process for the MBA batch of 2026 will include Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test for qualifying candidates. Candidates meeting the minimum SNAP cutoff percentile set by the institutes will proceed to these selection stages. To participate in Group Exercises, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Tests, candidates must complete an online application on the institutes' website they selected during SNAP registration. If shortlisted, candidates will receive notifications regarding the schedule and venue via email. Below is a step-by-step explanation of the SNAP 2025 selection process.

Step 1: Appear for SNAP 2025.

Step 2: Appear for the GE-PI-WAT round. Candidates scoring the minimum SNAP 2025 cut-off will be eligible for the selection process.

The SNAP selection process will begin soon after the SNAP results are announced. It is expected that selections will begin in February 2026. Registration will be required for the GE-PI-WAT process as well. Candidates will have to fill out the registration form for the selection rounds to be invited. Each of the selection rounds of SNAP 2025 has been explained in more detail below.

Group Exercise (GE)

• It is a process of screening the candidates on the basis of their ability as well as their skills.

• In this round, a topic is allocated to a group of candidates to discuss among themselves for 15-20 minutes.

• They are divided into groups, and each group is given two case studies.

Personal Interaction (PI)

• The objective of organising a personal interview is to analyse the responses of a candidate, their interpersonal, soft skills, confidence, and thought clarity.

• The interviewer can ask questions based on the details you filled in the Annexure and other information based on the academic qualifications of the candidates.

Written Ability Test (WAT)

• Written Ability Test is a pen-and-paper exam. It can also be called an Essay Writing Test. It is basically designed to test the knowledge of applicants and the richness of the content written by them.

Attendance at Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test is mandatory for admission eligibility. Candidates who fail to participate in the selection rounds will be considered ineligible for the SNAP admission process for any of SIU's MBA programs.

Documents Required in SNAP 2025 Selection Process

The following documents will be required during the SNAP 2025 selection process:

• Original counselling letter along with a photocopy
• All the original and at least 2 photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class
• Original admit card along with a photocopy
• Rank Card / Hall Ticket
• Bank draft as per the guidelines mentioned in the SNAP prospectus
• Original degree/provisional certificate if the candidate is appearing
• Scorecard (if applicable)
• Medical documents mentioned on the SNAP application form
• 4-6 Passport-size photographs, colour and black and white
• Community certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Other) signed by the authorised authority
• Other supportive documents mentioned on the SNAP application form
