The entrance exam of IIFT 2022 is all set to be conducted on December 5, 2021. All candidates who have registered for the MBA entrance exam must follow the exam day guidelines to ensure that their exam goes smoothly.

In this article, we have provided a list of ten things that candidates must remember on the exam day of IIFT 2022. Knowing the correct last minute preparation strategy will help the candidates give a boost to their IIFT 2022 result

10 Things to Remember on IIFT 2022 Exam Day

Go through the following list to know the ten important things you must remember on IIFT 2022 exam day.

1. Manage Your Time Smartly

While solving the IIFT 2022 question paper, candidates may lose track of time as the exam does not have any sectional time limit. You must ensure to manage your time in a smart way and allot a dedicated time slot to every section so that you do not miss questions. Refrain from looking at the timer every now and then as it will only make you more nervous.

2. Attempt Questions You are Sure about

IIFT is a speed-based test and candidates have to attempt the maximum number of questions in a limited time. In case of coming across a lengthy or tricky question, it is better to skip it and focus on the questions you can solve. Instead of wasting time on difficult questions, you should move to another question. IIFT follows negative marking for wrong answers so you must try to solve questions with 100 per cent accuracy.

3. Read the Questions Carefully before Attempting

It is advised to candidates that before starting to solve a question, they should read it in its entirety and understand what is asked. Some students read only half the question and jump to the answer options provided. Most of the time, the choices are extremely close and you will not mark the correct answer if you have not read the question properly.

4. Do Not Panic

One of the key contributing factors for performing well in any exam is maintaining your cool. It is of utmost importance to keep a calm mind while taking the IIFT 2022 exam as that will help you be more productive. Maintaining your composure can help you navigate lengthy or tricky questions as well. If you feel you are unable to complete the questions within the time limit you decided, do not fret as you can always catch up on your speed and finish solving all the questions.

5. Do Not Forget Documents to be Carried to the Exam Centre

All candidates who have registered for IIFT 2022 have to carry certain documents to the exam centre. These documents include the IIFT 2022 admit card and a valid ID proof issued by the government. Candidates must keep these documents aside before the exam so that they are in no rush while going to take the exam.

6. Reach the Exam Centre on Time

The reporting time at the IIFT 2022 exam centres is mentioned on the admit card issued to the candidates. It is extremely important that they reach the venue before time so as to avoid any last-minute hassle. It is advisable that candidates familiarise themselves with the exam centre location a few days prior to the exam. This will help them in getting an idea of traffic and the time needed to reach the centre.

7. Stick to the Exam Strategy You Have Planned

While attempting the IIFT 2022 exam, candidates must stick to the strategy they had already planned. This will provide them with a sense of familiarity and they will be able to solve questions without getting anxious. It will feel like solving a sample paper or mock test of IIFT and the exam will go smoothly.

8. Do Not Start a New Topic

Candidates should never start a new topic right before the exam. By doing so, they will not consume substantial knowledge to solve the questions asked in the exam. Moreover, they will further get confused and end up wasting time on the questions that will be based on those topics.

9. Have a Healthy Diet

Before the exam day, candidates must consume a healthy diet and get a full night's sleep. They must be well-rested and take the exam with a fresh mind. Having junk food or unhealthy dishes can cause lethargy and drowsiness. Hence, all test-takers must pay special attention to their diet and sleep.

10. Do Not Carry Expensive Items to the Centre

Candidates will not be allowed to carry mobile phones, tablets, etc. along with them to the exam centre. While there might be a facility to keep your belongings at the centre, their safety is not guaranteed. Therefore, you must not carry any expensive item to the venue of the exam.
