Gujarat University offers admission to candidates for various BA specializations for those who clear their class XII exams from a recognized board. There are three types of seats available in Gujarat University's BA degree programme: government, government-aided, and unaided. • Candidates would need to specify a minimum of 10 colleges in their order of choices of programs and university schools, departments, colleges or institutions, etc.
• Seats for various courses would then be allocated based on factors such as merit, category of the student and availability of seats.
• All the seats allocated for various courses would be issued on the official webpage of the Gujarat University, from where the candidates would need to obtain the print out of the allotment letter and bank fee receipt copies.
• Readjustment/Re-shuffling seats would be carried out by the Gujarat University if considerable numbers of seats fall vacant.
• The vacant seat of reserved category would be transferred to the open category for admission after the completion of the second round of admission process.

• To get admitted in Gujarat University a student would have to pass the qualifying examination in the subjects prescribed by Gujarat University from Gujarat Board, CBSE, Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, etc.

Step 1 - Registration

The aspirants have to click on this link - https://eform.gujaratuniversity.ac.in/BA/news.aspx to visit the official website of Gujarat University first. Thereafter, they have to look out for the “Registration” link and click on it to initiate the application form filling process for BA admissions at Gujarat University. In this step, the aspirants will be asked to furnish their basic personal details like name, date of birth, contact details etc. After successfully filling out the registration form, the applicants will receive a text SMS on their registered mobile number comprising of their Registration details.

Step 2 - Filling out the application form

In this step, the applicants have to use the 14-digit PIN number provided to them by the University via a text SMS mentioned in the previous step. The applicants have to use the registration credentials to start filling up the online application form for BA admissions at Gujarat University. As a part of the application form filling process, the applicants have to provide the rest of the information like qualifying exam marks, category etc.

Step 3 - Signature and photo upload

In this step, the applicants have to upload their scanned signature and photograph as per the format and size mentioned below -

Step 4 - Filling up of choices

Gujarat University Merit List Tie-Breaker Policy

The tie-breaker method will be applied when two or more applicants have the same merit score and to decide who will be given first preference. In such a scenario -

• Aggregate marks secured by the applicants in their qualifying exam will be considered first

• Marks obtained by the applicants in English subject of their qualifying exam

• Class Xth aggregate score

• Date of birth

• Marks obtained by the applicants in their qualifying exam theory portion

Gujarat University BA Admission Seat Allotment Result 2024

On the basis of the merit list, the candidates will be allocated seats in various colleges and BA specializations of Gujarat University as per the preference of the candidates provided during the application process. The candidates have to log in to the seat allotment portal to find out if they have been allocated seats or not.

Those candidates who have been allocated seats will see an option - Print Provisional Allotment Admission Letter and Fees Receipt whereas those who haven’t been allocated seats will not see the option.
