• Mostly all students found the paper to be tough. For few candidates it was ranging from difficult to extremely difficult.

• Extremely difficult paper.
• Algebra was tough
• Integrated questions on permutation and combinations and binomial
• Integral calculus questions were doable this year
• Group Theory Questions had mix reactions. Sumit Babu from Hyderabad centre found the questions to be moderate in nature. But as per Pranav Tandon from Nasik centre told our team that he found group theory questions difficult
• For real analysis, questions were mostly moderate to difficult in nature
• For Sayantan Roy another aspirant from Kolkata centre he found real analysis very easy. When asked by our team - How did you prepare for real analysis section? He said - "I practised lot of questions. Mainly integrating topics like differential calculus and limits and continuity. Most of the questions asked were already done during my practice classes.

• For most of the students, the physics paper was moderate to moderate to tough.

• Few students found 2026 physics paper was easy compared to 2025 paper.
• Modern physics questions were dominant in the paper and it was tough
• According to Ankush Gautam, he found NAT questions bit difficult
• Optics questions were again tough but for many students solid state questions were quite easy
• Nikhil Gupta from Bhopal said there were 4 questions from Thermodynamics.
• Simran Ahuja from Delhi centre said that usually phase trajectory question is not asked in JAM but this year it was there in the paper which was surprising for her.
• For the Mechanics part, we got mixed reactions. Few students reported that Mechanics was easy but for Simran, the Mechanics part was quite difficult.

Moderate level of difficulty as reported by most of the students. Few questions were directly formula based questions. However, physical chemistry was dominant

• Mix of heavy and intensive calculations based questions and formula based questions
• More focus on questions on Differentiation, Integral Calculus, Permutation and Combination, Convergence

As predicted mathematics was the toughest of all the papers. Required very good conceptual clarity. Permutation and Combination questions were there. Integrated topics were asked mostly that required intensive calculations.

• Expected to be moderate or moderate to difficult level
• Maths Eco and Stat Eco questions is expected to be higher in number
• Focus on Optimisation chapter, Business Cycles, Type I and Type II errors
• From Indian Economy, Banking and Finance chapter is important

Physics as said by most of the students that the paper was moderate to moderate to difficult. Students found that questions from NAT section was tough. As compared to last 5 years, the paper was tough.

• Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Molecule Bonding and Microscopy questions will be dominant
