We are here to give you a detailed version of the IIT JAM exam analysis 2019. IIT JAM 2019 was conducted by IIT Kharagpur across 65 cities in India on 10th February 2019. The exam was conducted in 2 sessions. The first session was conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM for Biological Sciences (BL), Mathematics (MA) and Physics (PH). The second session from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM was conducted for Biotechnology (BT), Chemistry (CY), Geology (GG) and Mathematical Statistics (MS).
There were 3 sections in each paper just like the previous years -- MCQ or Multiple Choice Questions, MSQ or Multiple Selection Question and NAT or Numeric Answer Type Questions.
Section A: In the section, there is going to be 10 questions of 1 mark and 20 questions of 2 marks each. The question will be in MCQ format. This section is subject to negative marking for every wrong answer. ⅓ marks for every 1 mark and ⅔ marks for every 2 marks question will be deducted. Left blank questions will receive zero marks.
