For the BA and BSc selection process at Krea University, the candidates will be selected on the basis of their academic performance in class 12th examination and entrance examination. They will be selected through the qualifying examination and personal interview round conducted by the institute. The date for the qualifying exam and personal interview will be announced later. After that, the University will publish the list of the shortlisted candidate. The faculty members take the applicants for fieldwork wherein the applicants understand the context, engage with the stakeholders and present their analysis. The case study will provide the applicants with a snapshot of Krea’s Interwoven Learning approach in-action.
Reflection essays: Applicants will need to think about the Krea Immersive Case by writing about their experience and learning during the field-visit
Conversations: Applicants will then engage in one-on-one conversations with the faculty members
There will be a quantitative and logical reasoning test
On the immersion day, applicants are advised to bring their supporting documents for their application and financial aid
Decision on admission
Based on the information provided by the candidate and the evaluation scores awarded in the previous stages, the candidate will get the following decisions:
Confirmed offer of admission: Candidates who have done well in the first two stages of admission and meet the eligibility criteria (as explained in the eligibility section) will get confirmed admission offer. For such candidates, the following scenarios are applicable:
Candidates whose standardised test scores have been considered as the primary indicator of merit vis-a-vis their actual or predicted Board scores at the Grade 12 level will get a confirmed admission offer. For Indian students, there will be the minimum condition of passing the Board exams to fulfil the legal norms to be eligible for undergraduate education
Candidates whose actual board scores are the primary indicator of merit will also get a confirmed admission offer
Conditional offer of admission: Candidates who meet the criteria such as the predicted board score will get conditional admission offers. The condition will typically be meeting the predicted scores or achieving a specific target score.
Denial of admission: Candidates can be denied admission during any stage of the selection process. The cases where candidates can be denied admission to the BA and BSc programs at Krea University are given below:
Stage 1: Candidates, whose profile and records provided in the application form are completed as per their actual board exam results but they are not able to meet the selection benchmark of shortlisting for Immersion
Stage 2: Candidates whose scores from the immersion combined with actual board exam scores and evaluation of other aspects of their application does not meet the selection benchmark
