The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Madhya Pradesh, has released the MPDTE counselling date 2025. BE and BTech Admissions in Madhya Pradesh are done based on JEE Main scores/ qualifying exam scores, followed by a centralised counselling process held by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh. The counselling process for Madhya Pradesh 2025 B.Tech admission is being completed in multiple rounds. The initial rounds of MP B.E/B.Tech counselling is done based on scores achieved in

Madhya Pradesh BE Admissions Dates 2025
MP DTE registration date 2025 has been released officially. DTE MP conducts two rounds of centralized counselling processes for JEE Main qualified students, followed by counselling on the basis of the qualifying examination score. Eligibility Criteria for Madhya Pradesh BE Admissions 2025
The eligibility criteria for B.E admissions in Madhya Pradesh 2025 are as follows –
1. Domicile Requirement: 90% of seats in B.E colleges across the state are reserved for Madhya Pradesh domicile/ resident students. Additionally, only MP domicile students will be considered for the Tuition Fee Waiver scheme.
2. Entrance Exam: You must have a valid JEE Main score to be eligible for the admission process. Students without a JEE Main score can also apply for MP B.E. admission, and the Class 12 merit of the students will be considered while preparing the merit list.
3. Academic Requirements: You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science as the main subjects with a minimum qualifying mark of 45% (40% for reserved categories).
MP BE/B.Tech Application Process 2025
The DTE MP B.E/B.Tech admission process 2025 usually includes the following steps:
Step 1- Registration: DTE MP BE registration 2025 will commence on the official website. You will be required to register by submitting details such as your name, email, phone, etc.
Step 2- Application Form Filling 2025: Following the completion of registration, you will be required to submit DTE MP application form. You will be required to submit academic details, qualifications, domicile, etc.
Step 3- Uploading of Documents and Pictures: The next step is to upload your scanned photographs and documents as asked by DTE MP. You must ensure that you meet the image and document requirements properly.
Step 4- Application Form Fee Payment: Now, you are required to pay the prescribed application fee for DET MP B.E/B.Tech. You can make the fee payment online using net banking, credit card/debit card, etc. You will be required to keep a receipt the application fee with you for future reference.
Step 5- Submission of Application Form: Once you have successfully submit the application fee, the application form will be submitted automatically. You will also receive a confirmation via email and text message.
MP BE/B.Tech Admission and Selection Process 2025
The B.E. admission procedure in Madhya Pradesh involves different stages. As the admissions are completely based on merit, preparation of a merit list or rank list, and declaration of opening and closing ranks are some of the steps involved in the admission process. The B.E admission process of Madhya Pradesh is broadly divided into two categories –
Madhya Pradesh B.E Admission Procedure through JEE Main:
JEE Main score is the major criterion for B.E admission in Madhya Pradesh. DTE MP will come up with a separate merit list of the students who have applied for B.E admission with a valid JEE Main score.
Madhya Pradesh B.E Admission Procedure through 10+2 Merit:
Students who do not have a valid JEE Main score can compete for B.E admission in Madhya Pradesh through 10+2 merit. DTE MP will release a separate merit list for 10+2 pass-outs, and all the students who feature in the merit list will be considered for seat allotment, subject to the availability of seats in specific colleges and courses.
MP BE/B.Tech Counselling Process 2025
DTE MP counselling 2025 dates have been released for the academic year 2025 admission cycle. DTE Madhya Pradesh conducts the centralized/ online counselling process of B.E admissions in government engineering colleges, private/ unaided engineering colleges, and state universities. All the students must take part in this counselling process to secure admission to B.E in MP. The counselling process is conducted in multiple rounds. Students who have registered for counselling will be able to participate and fill in their colleges and stream choices. After each round of counselling, the authority will release the seat allotment. You will be required to either confirm or upgrade your seat and report to college.

MP BE/B.Tech Merit List 2025
The Madhya Pradesh BTech merit list 2025 for round 2 has been released on July 17, 2025. As per the MPDTE counselling 2025 date, the merit list has been released on June 25, 2025, for round 1. The merit list for DTE MP B.Tech Admission 2025 has been released on the official website. The DTE MP B.Tech Merit List will consist of the names of all the students who will be eligible for seat allotment. The merit list will be released separately for round 1 and round 2 DTE MP counselling. Following the release of the merit list, the allotment letters will be issued to students.
MP BE/B.Tech Seat Allotment 2025
The MP BTech seat allotment 2025 for round 2 has been issued on July 21, 2025. The MP BTech seat allotment 2025 result for round 1 has been released on June 30, 2025. Madhya Pradesh BE seat allotment was declared by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh. You can check your seat allotment results by logging on to the official website of DTE Madhya Pradesh and logging in with the help of registered credentials. The seat allotment letter will be released based on JEE Main 2025 scores. If you are not satisfied with the seat allotment results, you can check the available vacant seats. The seat allotment after upgrading is declared in online mode. The seat allotment process of Madhya Pradesh B.E admissions involves different stages, and the same can be checked below.
1. Release of Common Merit List: DTE Madhya Pradesh has released the Common Merit List of students eligible on June 25, 2025 for B.E admission in the state. The common merit list has the name of the student, JEE Main Roll Number, Category, and Merit Number. These students will get admission to the B.E course based on merit.
2. Publication of Provisional Seat Allotment Letter: You can download the seat allotment letter for and complete further admission process proceedings. The DTE MP publishes seat allotment results through the official website. The students can download the seat allotment letter and are required to report at the allotted college before the due date.
3. Upgradation of Seat: If you aspire to seat degradation, you can re-submit the option entry form on the official website. Students will be given two chances to upgrade their current allotment. The seat allotment will be published as per the schedule.
4. Reporting to College: After the seat allotment, the students must download the seat allotment letter, and report to the respective engineering college with all the relevant documents.
5. Verification of Documents: The college authorities will verify the documents of students to confirm admission.
6. Admission Confirmation: The admission of the students will be confirmed after the document verification, and the students are required to deposit the first-year B.E. fee within the date specified by the college.
MP BE/B.Tech Admission Reservation Policy 2025
DTE MP follows the reservation rules of the state government for B.E admissions. The breakup of engineering seats in Madhya Pradesh is as follows –

The seats available under the Madhya Pradesh domicile category are distributed among different categories such as SC, ST, OBC, General, etc. Equal representation is given to all categories during the admission process. The reservation rules do not apply for outside MP students and NRI quota.
