Is it easy to score 150 in the MHT CET 2025 exam?

It is not a difficult task to get a 150+ score in the MHT CET 2025 exam provided candidates follow a proper preparation plan. Moreover, 80% of the total asked questions in MHT CET will be from the class 12 syllabus. Hence, it is easier for the candidates as they will be able to remember more of the class 12 course than class 11.

Is 150 considered to be a good score in the MHT CET 2025 exam?

According to the previous years trends, 150 marks or above in MHT CET are considered to be a good score in the Maharashtra CET 2025 exam. Being aware of a good score in the MHT CET exam helps the candidates to plan their preparations accordingly.  

Does class 12 board marks matter in the MHT CET 2025 exam?

Yes, the marks secured in the class 12th examination are considered while calculating the final score of the MHT CET 2025 exam. The final score of MHT CET 2025 is calculated based on the marks obtained in the MHT CET entrance exam as well as the normalized marks obtained in the class 12th examination.  

Is the MHT CET 2025 exam MCQ based?

The MHT CET question paper will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) having four options with one correct answer.   

Which syllabus is the MHT CET 2025 exam based on?

The questions in the MHT CET 2025 exam will be based on the syllabus of the State Council Of Educational Research And Training, Maharashtra. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to the Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std.XII curriculum while setting the MHT CET question paper.  

What is the minimum score for the MHT CET 2025 exam?

As per the MHT CET passing marks 2025, candidates from the reserved categories are required to achieve a minimum of 40% of the total 200 marks, which is equal to 80 marks. On the other hand, the candidates from the general category must secure at least 45% of the total marks, which is 90 marks out of 200.  

Is the MHT CET 2025 exam based on NCERT syllabus?

Since, the MHT CET exam is based on the combination of Std. XI & XII HSC syllabus, it is extremely crucial that you have thoroughly studied your State board text books for the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. However, to get that extra competitive edge over others, it is highly recommended to go through the NCERT books completely.  

Is the MHT CET 2025 exam easy?

MHT CET has a high difficulty level but qualifying the exam with good marks is not so challenging since the competition is less. If you are preparing for the JEE Main exam you can easily crack the MHT CET exam.

Is the MHT CET exam harder than the JEE Main 2025 exam?

JEE Main is considered more difficult than the MHT CET exam. The questions of the MHT CET exam will be based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Questions from the syllabus of Class 11 will account for 20% weightage and 80% weightage will be provided to the questions from the Class 12 syllabus.  

How many months are required to prepare for the MHT CET 2025 exam?

Ideally, 3-month time is considered to be good enough for completing the MHT CET 2025 preparation. Students who have started preparing for MHT CET from class 11 or 12 can easily prepare for the MHT CET 2025 exam in 6 months considering the topics of the MHT CET syllabus 2025 have already been studied in class 11 and 12.
