UP ITI Admission 2024: Dates, Application Process, Eligibility, Seat Allotment

UP ITI Admission 2024: The State Council of Vocational Training, Lucknow, will begin UP ITI 2024 registration in June 2024. The application form for UP ITI 2024 will be available on the website scvtup.in/hi. Candidates who want to apply for ITI admission 2024 must complete the UP ITI registration by the deadline. Candidates who pass the exam will be offered admission to a variety of technical and non technical courses. 

For qualifying students in classes 10 and 12, the NCVT UP offers diploma courses. To apply for UP ITI diploma courses, candidates can complete the application online by August 2024. SCVT UP does not conduct an entrance exam for admission in ITI courses after 10th & 8th. UP ITI admission 2024 offers admission in Government and Private ITIs in Uttar Pradesh done on the basis of a merit list which is prepared by taking into consideration the marks secured by the applicants in their respective qualifying examinations.

UP ITI Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

The detailed eligibility criteria which the applicants have to fulfil before filling up the UP ITI online form 2024 have been provided below:

• The applicants have to be class VIIIth/Xth qualified (or equivalent) from a recognised Board for UP ITI admission 2024

• The applicants should not be a day younger than 14 years on 01st August 2024

• Applicants who are appearing in their respective qualifying examination in 2024 are also eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions for the session 2024

• The applicants must be mentally and physically sound (fit) to be eligible to apply for UP ITI admissions

• There is no upper age limit to apply for UP ITI Admission 2024

• There is no relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates belonging to reserved categories

UP ITI Application Form 2024

The step by step process to fill out the UP ITI form 2024 is given below - 

1. Click on the link - UP ITI Admission 2024 to go to the official website of UP State Council for Vocational Training containing the application form

2. Fill all the boxes with the required information like own name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, category and mobile number and click on the “Send OTP” button to receive a verification link on your mobile phone. Type the OTP in the blank box and click on the “Verify & Proceed” button to proceed to the next step

3. Three options will appear on the screen namely State, Private and State and Private. You have to select one from the available options and click on the “UP ITI admission 2024 Submit” button to move to the next step

4. Now, you will see the UP ITI admission application form asking for all the important basic personal details like name, parents’/guardian’s name, correspondence address, category etc. You have to fill all the boxes very carefully and click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab

5. Now you have to provide your educational qualification details and upload your recent scanned photograph and signature. The scanned images should be in .jpg/.jpeg format only and should not be more than 50KB in size. Again you have to click on the “Save & go to the Next Step” tab

6. Now you have to choose between Group A and B followed by choosing of ITIs and courses. Click on the “Next” button 

7. Now, the preview of your filled application form will appear in front of you. You will have to check for all the details you have provided and then click on the agreement checkbox and click on the “Proceed to Payment” tab

8. You have to submit the application form fee to complete the online application process for UP ITI admission 2024

UP ITI Application Fee 2024

The application form fee for UP ITI admission 2024 is different for candidates belonging to different categories - 

UP ITI Admission 2024 Selection Process 

Selection into the ITI courses offered by various Government and Private ITI institutions of Uttar Pradesh will be done through the UP ITI counselling process. The counselling process for ITI admissions in Uttar Pradesh will be carried out on the basis of a merit list prepared by the officials by taking into consideration the marks secured by the applicants in their respective qualifying examinations. Only those candidates whose names are mentioned in the merit list will be allowed to take part in the UP ITI admission counselling process

The final allocation of seats will be determined through a series of rounds of counselling. Candidates will have the option to "Float" if they are dissatisfied with their assigned seats and are willing to wait for the results of the next round of counselling and seat allocation to see if they have better options. If the candidates are happy with the seats that have been assigned to them, they have the option to "freeze" the seat. In such a case, the candidates will be unable to participate in the subsequent rounds of UP ITI admission 2024 counselling and seat allocation.

The seat allocation result will be updated on the official website of the Uttar Pradesh State Council for Vocational Training. Those candidates who have been allocated seats will be notified through their registered mobile number. The candidates will be given 6 days thereafter to deposit the admission fee and confirm their admission in the allocated seats. Candidates failing to confirm their admission within the allocated timeline will be barred from the UPITI counselling process and the allocated seats will be confiscated. 

If the candidates applying for admission at the private ITIs in Uttar Pradesh fail to confirm their admission within the deadline. The private ITIs have the right to reserve those seats as management quota seats where eligible candidates will be given admission outside the SVCT portal. The eligible candidates only have to deposit the admission fee to confirm their admission in these management quota seats.

UP ITI Merit List 2024

The UP IT merit list 2024 will be released by the authority a few days after the final UP ITI online form 2024 date expires. The UP ITI admission 2024 list will only be made available for those candidates who have successfully registered themselves before the deadline. The list will be prepared as per candidates' scores in the required qualifying examination. Aspirants will be able to download it in online mode only.
