NIT Delhi admission 2025 is ongoing. The college provides BTech, MTech and PhD courses. September 05, 2025NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per NIRF Rankings 2025, National Institute of Technology Delhi ranks 65 under the Engineering category
August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
August 25, 2025The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed to August 28, 2025. Regular applications close on September 28, with late submissions accepted until October 9. Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, and results on March 19.
August 06, 2025The GATE 2026 schedule is now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registration for GATE 2026 will begin on August 25 and will close on September 25 without a late fee, and on October 6 with a late fee. The exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be announced on March 19, 2026.

National Institute of Delhi (NITD) is one of the top government institutes situated in Delhi. NIT Delhi was established in 2010 by the Parliamentary Act and has been appreciated for being the University of national importance. The institute is spread over 51 acres of land in Narela, Delhi. NIT Delhi offers various courses in the engineering and technology field. It includes BTech, MTech and doctoral programmes. For BTech admission in NIT Delhi, a candidate needs to appear for JEE Mains examination, the admission process is carried through JoSAA counselling. GATE exam is accepted for MTech admissions followed by CCMT counselling. UGC-NET/UGC-CSIR NET or GATE examination is accepted for admission to doctoral programmes.
NIT Delhi placement is among the top NITs. The placement report for 2025 is yet to be released. However, as per the previous statistics, a student from the BTech CSE branch was offered the highest package of Rs 62 LPA during the 2024 placement drive and Rs 55 LPA in 2023 whereas the average package stood at Rs 15.59 LPA for the year 2024. - Computer Centre : NIT Delhi Computer was established in the year 2014, with the aim to provide assistance to the students for computational requirements. The computer centre at the institute manages the Wi-Fi facilities provided to the students for their effective research work. The centre provides technical assistance when needed. The centre takes care of Integrated Institute Management System on SaaS, computer facilities for the institute administration, providing eduroam facility to the various users.
- Library : NIT Delhi Central Library has an enormous collection of books on science and technology which includes Mathematics, Economics, Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, etc. Study materials are available in both written and digital formats.
