ITI Course Duration

Duration of the courses mentioned in the table can vary from 6 months to 2 years depending on the curriculum followed by the ITI or the norms set by the DGET for ITIs. ITI engineering courses are usually longer than the ITInon-engineering courses.

Once the candidates have completed their coursework and training, they have to appear for AITT (All India Trade Test) that comprises practical as well as a written exam. Candidates who pass this exam are awarded the NTC (National Trade Certificate) and are eligible to take up jobs in their respective fields.
