The Government of Haryana will consider launching a Haryana International Education Department in the State, said state chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar on September 6 while inaugurating the International Haryana Education Society.
Mr. Khattar added that the state government will try to fulfil the dreams of many study abroad aspirants and job seekers, for which the Foreign Cooperation Department has been set up. This has made Haryana to become the first Indian state to do so.
He also mentioned that the current government is the first to give passports with BA-MA degrees to students in the state. So far, 3,000 students have passports.

Khattar asked the students to learn foreign languages by sharing his own example as he has also been learning Japanese. He went on to say that cultural exchange with countries is a good way to develop a better understanding of other countries.
He also appreciated Mr Rohit Ahlawats (the founder of the International Haryana Education Society efforts) in introducing the online training programme for students in the state.
The founder explained the objectives of the society and Ms Rekha Dhankhar, who attended the event from Britain was the first registrant of the society from the Chief Minister.

Dr Rajveer Dahiya from the US shared details about the possibilities of admission to different global universities.
Others including Amit Arya, Media Advisor to CM; Pawan Choudhary, Department Coordinator; Kiran Gulia from London; Yogendra Choudhary, Principal Secretary Foreign Cooperation; Nisha Ahlawat and more also attended the event.
