BTech Admission Through COMEDK Counselling 2025: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka has announced the COMEDK counselling dates on its website. Those who qualified COMEDK 2025 exam are only eligible for the counselling process. The COMEDK 2025 counselling is being conducted in three rounds. You have to complete all the counselling stages like registration, option entry and locking, mock allotment, and seat allotment for admissions to your desired colleges. You have to fill in the choices of colleges & courses during the counselling process, and accordingly, the seats will be allocated in the seat allotment process. The seats allocated in the seat allotment process will be allocated only when confirmed by you through the surrender/cancellation options, and by confirming the seats by paying the required fees. As per the schedule, the COMEDK choice filling 2025 for round 4 will be done from September 2 to 4, 2025.

The various steps involved in the COMEDK counselling have been mentioned below.

Registration and Payment of Fee Payment

• Visit the COMEDK 2025 official website click on the counselling link and log in by using their COMEDK UGET 2025 application number/registration number and password

• Go through all the details and pay Rs. 2,000 as part of the tuition fee to participate in the COMEDK counselling process in 2025.

• You will be then directed to the payment portal for the counselling fee payment

• Carefully check the fee policy mentioned in the COMEDK 2025 information brochure before proceeding further

• After the payment is made, re-login and click on the 'Counselling Process' tab again

Choice Filling and Locking

• Fill and lock your choices of colleges and programmes as per order of priority.

• Once the preferences are saved and the process is completed, take a printout of your opted choices and verify the same again

• During option entry for Round 1, you can modify your choice of college/programme any number of times

• During option entry for Round 2, only saved or locked choices will be considered

• No changes are permitted in the preferences selected during the option entry period of Round 2

• Only those who complete 'Option Entry' during a round of counselling will be considered for seat allotment.

Mock Allotment

• The mock allotment status will be made available in the COMEDK login of individual students

• Click on the mock allotment link and log in to access the mock seat allotment result

• In case you want to change your preference, click on the 'Close' tab on top of the page and click on the 'Option Entry' tab

• Add/remove/reorder preferences, if required, and click on the 'Save' tab

• Take a printout of saved options for your reference list

Seat Allotment

• Seat allotment will be done online mode based on the ranks secured by the students in the COMEDK 2025 exam, choices filled and availability of seats

• Students who have been allotted seats will be able to download their verification entry card only after the payment of the fee in online mode

• You must produce the verification entry card at the time of document verification

• You must personally report for document and biometric verification in Bangalore.

Fee Payment and Confirmation

• Post the seat allotment result, you are required to fill in the admission fees in order to confirm the seat in the allotted college. You can opt for different online modes like debit/credit card, net banking, etc, to make the payment of the fees.
• Make sure to pay the fees within the given deadline as per the authorities, to avoid any cancellation of the fees.

Reporting to the College

• After the payment of the fees, you need to report to the college allotted to you on the given date & time.  You must carry all the necessary documents and submit them if required.
• In case due to any reason, you are unable to report to the college on the given day, the seat might be cancelled.

*Note:

• To be eligible for a KKR category seat through the COMEDK UGET counselling 2025 for BTech, students must upload a KKR 371J certificate as well as a Karnataka domicile certificate. If the student does not have the certificate, write it on a sheet of paper and seek to be regarded as a General Merit student. The letter should be signed by both the student and the parent

• Students with the status Supplementary Resubmit or Supplementary Resubmitted must resubmit their documents only after receiving their supplementary marks card. Supplementary applicants would be allowed to engage in counselling only in COMEDK UGET 2025 Round 2 Phase 2. The opportunity to upload supplemental passed marks cards will be provided at a later point, before COMEDK UGET 2025 Round 2 Phase 2.

COMEDK Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Students who are going to participate in the COMEDK counselling process should check the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

• Students must have qualified the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam.

• Students must have passed their higher secondary examination with 45% marks (40% marks for SC, ST, OBS of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer.

• Supplementary students are eligible to appear in rounds 2 and 3 counselling subject to the fulfilment of eligibility.
