COMEDK Counselling 2025: Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for COMEDK 2025 counselling, you must go through the eligibility criteria listed below.  

• Students who will pass COMEDK UGET 2025 exam are eligible to take part in COMEDK counselling 2025. 
• Students must have passed class 12th/equivalent with 45% (40% for SC, ST, and OBS in Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, as well as Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer.  
• Supplementary students may participate in rounds 2 and 3 of counselling, if they meet the eligibility requirements.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Document Uploading Process

• The students will have to scan the documents mentioned above

• The size of the scanned document should be less than 1 MB

• Students with the status Supplementary Resubmit or Supplementary Resubmitted must resubmit their documents only after receiving their supplementary marks card. Supplementary applicants would be allowed to engage in counselling only in Round 2 Phase 2. The opportunity to upload supplemental passed marks cards will be provided at a later point, before Round 2 Phase 2. Students must upload their marks card within the duration specified by COMEDK.

• To be eligible for the KKR seat, students seeking the KKR category seat must upload their Karnataka domicile certificate and their KKR 371J certificate. If the student does not possess the certificate, they should note this on paper and ask to be taken into consideration as a student with general merit. Both the student and the parent must sign the letter.

How Can I Determine Whether the Counseling Documents from COMEDK UGET Are Verified?

• The document verification status will be updated on the student’s login window. 
• Students must check the progress of their COMEDK UGET document verification by logging onto their application.

• Go to the official website

• You will be then directed to the payment portal to initiate the payment

• Check the fee policy mentioned in the information brochure before proceeding further

Option Entry and Locking

• COMEDK counselling 2025 choice filling date will be released along with the counselling schedule.
• Students will have to fill and lock their choices of colleges and programmes in order of priority. While filling out the choices, be careful as the information you provide here will be considered for seat allotment.

• Once the preferences are saved and the process is completed, students are advised to take a printout of their opted preferences and verify the same again.

• During option entry for Round 1, the student can modify their choice of college/programme any number of times.

• There is no limit on the maximum number of choices that can be entered.

• During option entry for Round 2, only saved or locked choices will be considered.

• No changes can be made to preferences selected during the options entry period of Round 2.

• Only those who complete 'Option Entry' during a round of counselling will be considered for seat allotment.

Mock Allotment

• In this step, based on the real data, mock allotment will be carried out, and the allotment status will be made available in the COMEDK login of individual students for information.

• Click on the mock allotment link and log in to view the mock result.

• If a student wants to change the preference, click on the 'Close' tab on top of the page, and click on the 'Option Entry' tab.

• Add/remove/reorder preferences, if required, and click on the 'Save' tab.

• Take a printout of the saved options for your reference list.

Seat Allotment

• Seat allotment will be done in online mode based on the ranks of the students in COMEDK UGET 2025, preference and availability of seats.

• Students with a higher rank in the merit list are given preference over lower-ranked students.

• Students who have been allotted seats will be able to download their verification entry card only after the payment of the fee in online mode.

• This verification entry card should be produced at the time of document verification.

• All shortlisted students will have to personally report for document and biometric verification in Bangalore.

COMEDK UGET 2025 Seat Allotment

COMEDK UGET seat allotment 2025 for round 3 will be released on August 22, 2025. Those who will be allotted seats during the COMEDK UGET 2025 seat allotment process can decide regarding confirmation of allotted seats and online COMEDK counselling fee payment. Different seat allotments will be held separately for all the categories (General Merit, HKR/Tulu Minority/Karnataka Christian Minority, and Non-Karnataka Christian Minority).
