LPUNEST 2024 Slot Booking - Procedure & Last Date

To fill up the LPUNEST application form, the important documents needed are the Class 10th Marksheet, the Marksheet of Class 12th, A valid email ID of the candidate, An existing mobile number of the applicant, A scanned photograph of the applicant, A scanned copy of the candidate’s signature, Candidates applying online need to have a Debit card or a Credit Card to pay the application fee. Make sure you are ready with the documents when you sit down to fill up your application form. 

Candidates have to first visit the official website, nest.lpu.in and log in by entering their Email ID/ Mobile Number/ Application Number and Password and clicking on 'Log in'. Click on the LPUNEST slot booking option and the available slots will be displayed on the screen. Only candidates who have completed the application and paid the fee will be able to access this option. Select your preferred centre in your chosen city, the date and time for the exam, and save your preferences. Reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis and the slot booking has to be done at least 3 days before your chosen date of the exam.

For a candidate who fails to complete Slot Booking before the specified deadline, the university books a slot for the applicant. Candidates are asked to provide 5 choices of test centres in their application form. LPU may book any of the preferred slots for the candidate, depending on availability. In case none of the preferred slots of the candidate is available, another slot may be allotted by the university for the applicant.

The LPUNEST slot booking process will only be available for candidates who have completed their application form and paid the fee. Additionally, only candidates who will be applying for MBA, B.Tech, Design, Hotel Management, Agriculture, Law and Applied Medical Sciences courses will have the Slot Booking option available. Before you move on with booking the slot, check which course you are willing to take admission to. 

To submit the LPUNEST application form, candidates have to pay an application fee. The fee can be paid online or offline mode. Candidates willing to pay the fee through online mode can use a credit card or debit card or net banking process. While, candidates who want to pay the application fee offline, can pay via cash or cheque or demand draft. For online payment, boys have to pay INR 1000 and girls have to pay INR 500 for the cost of the application form and soft copy of the LPUNEST Kit. The cost of the application form and a printed copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls). Students willing to pay the application fee offline can collect it from the University Campus. The price of the application form and a printed copy of the LPUNEST Kit is INR 1500 (for boys) and INR 1000 (for girls) for candidates paying offline fees. 

The exam centres for LPUNEST are Andhra Pradesh (Anantpur, Gudlavalleru, Guntur, Kurnool, Nellore, Ongole, Rajahmundy, Tirupathi, Vijayawada, Vishakhapatnam), Arunachal Pradesh (Itanagar), Assam, Bihar (Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Patna), Chandigarh, Chattisgarh (Bhilai, Bilaspur CG, Raipur), Goa (Margao, Panjim), Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara), Haryana (Ambala, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram, Hissar, Jagadhri, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Panipat, Rohtak, Sonipat, Yamunanagar), Himachal Pradesh (Bilaspur HP, Hamirpur, Mandi, Palampur, Shimla), Jammu & Kashmir, Jharkhand (Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Ranchi), Karnataka, Kerala (Aluva, Cochin, Ernakulam, Kannur, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Malappuram Dist, Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur), Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Nagercoil, Salem, Tirunelveli, Trichy, Agra, Allahabad, Amroha, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Greater Noida, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Noida, Saharanpur, Varanasi, etc.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST. There is no stipulated upper or lower age limit notified by the university for admission to UG and PG courses. For admission in undergraduate programmes such as B.Tech, B.Tech (LE), Law, etc., candidates should have completed 10+2 from a recognised board (CBSE / ICSE / State Board / other councils). To take admission to postgraduate programmes such as MBA, M.Tech, etc., candidates should have completed Graduation from a University or Institution recognized by UGC or some other authorized body. The required percentage of marks is different for the UG and PG programmes. However, candidates should try to have 55% to 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations. 

Some of the important points that candidates should know before booking slots for LPUNEST are there can be no change in the booked slot. Therefore, candidates must be aware of their schedules and other appointments when booking their slots. The LPUNEST Slot Booking process is conducted on a first come first serve basis. Any slot that is completely booked by some candidates will become unavailable for other applicants. Students are advised to go through the points so that they don’t make any mistakes while booking the exam slots.

In case a candidate forgets his or her password to book slots for LPUNEST, he/ she can use the 'Forgot Password' option available on the login page. By clicking on it, candidates will be redirected to a page where they will be asked to provide their registered Email ID. If a candidate provides the correct Email ID, the link to reset LPUNEST Password will be sent to the registered Email ID of the applicant.

The slot booking process of LPUNEST is done so that candidates who fill out the LPUNEST application form choose their preferred test city centre, date and time. The entrance exam is conducted in more than 200 cities in India in 28 States and 9 Union Territories. The candidates appearing in the exam get an advantage to choose their preferred exam slot. You must know that particular slot has limited availability and hence, slots are allotted on a first come first serve basis. In case a candidate does not book a slot manually, a slot will be automatically booked for them.
