In Maharashtra, admission to the D.Pharm program is not determined by a separate entrance exam, in contrast to many other professional programs. Rather, it uses a merit-based system based on the scores earned in the science stream of the Class 12th (HSC) exam. The entire process is carried out via a Centralised Admission Process (CAP), which guarantees that qualified students can use a single online application to reserve seats in government, government-aided aided and private pharmacy colleges throughout the state. Knowing this procedure is the first important step towards your pharmacy career as the 2025 admissions window opens.
