State-Level Entrance-Based Admissions:

Under State-Level entrance tests, admissions are usually done via a counselling-based admission process, wherein the candidates will be asked to select the course and the college offering their choice of course.
The conducting body will then release merit lists containing the names of all candidates according to their respective scores in the entrance test.

Candidates will be asked to participate in the entrance test conducted by the university on the stipulated date and time with the appropriate documents such as an Admit Card and Photo ID.
After attempting the entrance test, colleges or universities will release merit lists containing the names of all candidates along with their ranks and scores obtained in the entrance test.
Depending on the admission policy adopted by the concerned college, candidates may be asked to participate in the selection processes which may include a Personal Interview-based selection or a counselling-based admission. (Selection Processes Defined Below)
