Maharashtra B.Pharm Eligibility Criteria 2021
In order to participate in the common entrance test, candidates will be asked to ensure that they meet the requisite Maharashtra B.Pharm eligibility criteria 2021. The state CET Cell requires that the candidates meet the candidature type and academic qualifications before applying for the entrance test. All Indian candidates who wish to take admissions to one of the B.Pharm courses offered in the pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra are required to sit for the entrance test.
Candidature Type:
Maharashtra State Candidate:
Candidates who have passed SSC and HSC/Diploma in Engineering/Bachelor of Science from an educational institute in Maharashtra are eligible.
Or
Candidates who do not fall in the above category but his/her father or mother is domiciled in Maharashtra and have a domicile certificate proving the same are eligible.
Or
Candidates who do not fall in either of the categories above but either one of their parents is employed under the Government of India and is posted in Maharashtra and reports to the duty before the last date of submission of the application form for CAP, are eligible.
Or
Those who do not fall under any of the above-mentioned categories, if their parents are employed or retired employees of the Government of Maharashtra/Undertaking, they are also eligible.
Or
Candidates who cleared their class 12 board examination from one of the schools located in the disputed regions between Maharashtra & Karnataka and whose mother tongue is Marathi are also eligible.
All India Category:
All applicants who are permanent residents of India are eligible for the entrance test
Minority Candidates:
Candidates who belong to a specific Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from Maharashtra, as per the notification released by the Government of Maharashtra, can apply via this category.
Children of NRI/OCI/PIO or children of Indian workers employed in Gulf countries or Foreign National are exempted from appearing for MHT CET 2021 for admissions.
Academic Qualification:
Apart from the nationality and domicile criteria, candidates are also required to have qualified the academic qualifications required for admissions to the courses. The academic qualifications for the test are as follows:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 in the stream of science from a recognised board of education.
It is important that the candidates have secured an aggregate score of 50% in the qualifying exam, with compulsory subjects like Physics and Chemistry with one other subject from Mathematics or Biology. Reserved category candidates from Maharashtra must have secured 45% aggregate score in the subjects mentioned above.
Candidates should have secured a non-zero score in the CET exam conducted by the Competent Authority.
For All India Candidates:
Candidates should have secured a non-zero score in NEET or equivalent CET exam, in all the subjects. The preference would be reserved for those who have a valid score in NEET over any other CET exam.
Maharashtra B.Pharm Application Process 2021
All the aspirants who qualify the required eligibility criteria for MHT CET must complete the Maharashtra B.Pharm application process 2021. The State CET cell accepts application forms for the courses in online mode only. Therefore, all candidates are advised to visit the official website of mhtcet2021.mahaonline.gov.in, in order to fill and submit their application forms. In order to complete the application form, candidates will have to comply with the following steps:
All candidates are to register themselves on the website.
Once registered, candidates will be able to complete the application form.
All candidates are required to check the details entered in the application form, prior to completing the payment of the application form fee. No changes to the application form will be entertained under any circumstances, once the application fee has been submitted.
Along with filling in the application, candidates are to pay the MHT CET 2021 application fee. The Application form fee is non-refundable.
After the payment of the application form, candidates are to upload their photograph and signature, as per the guidelines mentioned by the State CET Cell. Check the rules for uploading the Photograph and Signature section of the article below.
The registration process and confirmation of the application form will be completed once all the above steps are completed, as per regulations. All candidates are required to take a printout of the receipt of payment of application form fee for further admission processes. After successful completion of the application form, candidates should take a printout of the application form as well.
All candidates are advised to keep the MHT CET 2021 application form number, login ID & password safe, as they will be required to download the admit card for the entrance exam and for checking the results, subsequently.
Rules For Uploading Photograph and Signature
During the application process, candidates will be required to upload a photograph of themselves and their signature. Here are the rules for uploading photograph and signature under the MHT-CET application form.
For Photograph:
Candidates are to take a recent colour passport-size photograph of themselves, which has been taken against a light or white background.
A digital copy of the photograph is required, therefore, candidates should either scan the image or get a digital copy from the shop.
The file size for the photograph should lie between 15 KB to 50KB. Any images that do not adhere to the file-size regulation will not be accepted by the system.
For Signature:
Candidates are required to provide a signature of themselves on a white paper, using a black ink pen.
While scanning and saving the digital copy of the signature, candidates will be required to scan the image in 200 DPI (Dots per Inch).
The file size of the scanned image should lie between 5 KB to 20 KB, in JPG format.
Once the images have been uploaded successfully, candidates will be able to see the result of the same on the screen. All candidates must ensure that the images that have been uploaded are as per the directives of the State CET Cell.
Maharashtra B.Pharm Application Fee 2021
A crucial element of completing the application form is the payment of the Maharashtra B.Pharm Application fee 2021. As per the information brochure released by the State CET cell, candidates will be required to pay the following application fee.

Maharashtra B.Pharm Admit Card 2021
After successfully submitting the application form, the State CET cell of Maharashtra will release the Maharashtra B.Pharm Admit Card 2021. Students will be able to download the admit card for the examination. In order to download the B.Pharm Admit Card for MHT CET 2021, candidates will have to visit the official website.
Using the Login ID and password, which is unique to every candidate, aspirants must log in on the official website.
The option of downloading the Admit Card will be visible on the screen. All candidates are to download the admit card and check whether all the details on the admit card are correct and complete.
Note:
The admit card which will be issued for each and every candidate is just a certificate that will allow the students to sit for the entrance exam and does not certify that they meet the required eligibility criteria.
Further, candidates who have submitted an incomplete application form will be rejected from the appearing for the B.Pharm admission process in Maharashtra. Students will not be allowed to submit the application forms twice. However, if candidates wish to submit the application form again, they will first be required to cancel the previous application form. It is important to note that the application fee which has been paid for the cancelled application form will not be refunded at any cost.

Maharashtra B.Pharm Selection Process and Results 2021
As part of the Maharashtra B.Pharm selection process and results 2021, a normalisation process will be conducted, which will be used to shortlist the eligible candidates. The MHT CET 2021 will be conducted by the State CET cell in multiple shifts.
As per the guidelines, the sets of question papers will be different in each shift. Since the sets of question papers that will be offered to candidates will be of different difficulty levels and to ensure that the candidates do not face an advantage or disadvantage due to this inconsistency, a normalisation process will be conducted.

Maharashtra B.Pharm Normalisation Process
After the Normalisation Process has been completed by the competent authority, the Maharashtra B.Pharm Results in 2021 will be released on the official website, i.e. mhtcet2021.mahaonline.gov.in. In order to check the Maharashtra B.Pharm Entrance Test results for 2021, candidates will be required to log in using the Login ID and Password, unique to them.1
Maharashtra B.Pharm Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) 2021
Once all the application processes including the document verification processes have been completed, the State CET Cell will release a Provisional Merit List on the official website, subsequently, releasing the final merit list. Admissions to the pharmacy courses will be based on the Maharashtra B.Pharm Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) 2021.
As per the directives of the State CET Cell, once the provisional merit list has been released, applicants are to submit their grievances, if any, during the stipulated time period. Grievances are to be submitted in writing with the documentation to prove the claims. No grievance claims will be accepted after the stipulated time period.
Once all the grievances have been handled, the Final Merit list of Maharashtra B.Pharm admissions 2021 will be released on the official website. It is important to note that being listed under the Final Merit List does not mean that candidates will be granted admissions.
Here are the steps in Centralised Allotment Process for 2021 B.Pharm Admissions in Maharashtra.
The State CET Cell will release Provisional Merit List, subsequently releasing the Final Merit List, after changes have been made to the Provisional Merit, within the stipulated time period.
List, displaying the number of seats available in different categories for the different CAP rounds, will be released by the competent authority. The list will contain information pertaining to the name of the institute, courses on offer, sanctioned intake along with the number of seats available under different candidate categories.
Filling Online Option form prior to the commencement of the CAP Rounds, entering the preferences of Institutes and Courses, in the descending order of preference. Once the options have been selected, they will be considered as final options of the candidate. Applicants are allowed to select a maximum of 300 choices.
Students will then be called for the respective allotment rounds, where they will be able to accept or decline the options offered to them.
The Maharashtra B.Pharm Admissions 2021 will be based on the Centralised Allotment Process conducted for the MHT-CET 2021 candidates.
