Tips to Prepare for AILET 2024 Elementary Mathematics Section

While the preparation for AILET 2024 Elementary Mathematics would not take more than 3 weeks, it totally depends on the speed and understanding of the candidate. Here are few guidelines outlined to serve as a practical reference for an exam taker:

  • Start Early for this Section

It is always better to start with this section before the rest of the AILET 2024 sections. This way, you would not panic about it and can surely be able to concentrate better on the other sections of AILET 2024. Before even beginning with the preparation spree, you must have a strategic plan. Therefore, start investing your time in that.

  • Make a Plan

Making a plan is easy but making the ideal one for you is going to get you a higher score. Think subjectively before you chalk out your plan. For instance, you may start with the tougher topics and leave the easier ones for later or you can do it the other way round. You can even mix difficult and easier topics. You can do anything if you know that the particular technique is going to give you better results.

  • It’s only the Elementary

As mentioned before, the AILET 2024 Elementary Mathematics section is going to be as “elementary” or as basic as possible. Nothing will go beyond the Mathematics of the level of class 10th. Hence, worrying about the type of questions will lead to a waste of time. Just follow your plan, face your fear and you will be good to go.

  • Practice Previous Year's Questions of AILET

For you to get an idea of your preparation level, you must get your hands on the previous year's question papers and practice them. Do not start with these before you are either halfway through your preparation or you are confident enough to take the actual test.

  • Practice Online Mock Tests

Mock tests of AILET can be found online. It is highly recommended to practice online mock tests as that will fetch you far better results. How is it going to benefit you? Well, mock tests not only help you with the sample questions but also with the real exam environment. The same will let you understand how you should be timing your question paper on the exam day.

  • Time Management and Accuracy

Time Management is something that would not require much work. The same would ensue from your commitment to the online mock tests. When dealing with accuracy, being confident about the answer is the key to acing the section. And, as this section would only have 10 questions, try not to spend much time on it.

  • Learn All the Formulae and Make Notes

Did you include this in your plan yet? If not, then please do so because if you can’t remember the formulae on your exam day, your preparation strategy and the entire preparation process would go to waste. Make concise notes of all the formulae that come under any of the above-mentioned topics.

  • Don’t Bury your Nose in a Stack of Books

Identify the best books for AILET 2024 Elementary Mathematics Section by consulting people who have either taken the test before or has prior experience of preparing for AILET. Do not set ambitious targets by taking help from multiple books. You would not want to misuse your time.

Lastly, do away with your preconceived notions about the AILET 2024 Elementary Mathematics and prepare well. Even if you do not find the time to cover all the topics, make sure you practice problems from all the important topics in the section.
