NIT Silchar NIRF Ranking 2024 has been released by the Ministry of Education. NIT Silchar has been ranked 92 in the overall category while in 2023 it was ranked 40th in the engineering category. Also, NIT Silchar has been ranked 801–1000 in the Times Higher Education (THE) ranking 2025. NIT Silchar courses include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams including engineering, science, humanities and 11 other departments.
