JoSAA 2026 counselling registration is now open. The last date to complete registration and choice filling is June 11, 2026. Candidates can complete the counselling process online through the official portal at josaa.nic.in.
IIT JAM 2026 Round 1 seat allotment has been released. Candidates can check their allotted seats on the official JOAPS portal at joaps.iitb.ac.in. The last date for payment of the seat acceptance fee is May 30, 2026. Candidates must complete the required admission choices, including Accept & Freeze, Accept with Upgrade, or Reject and Quit, within the specified deadline.
CCMN 2026 Counselling registration and choice filling process has started for MSc/MSc (Tech) admissions. The last date to complete registration is June 5, 2026, while fee payment and choice locking will remain open until June 8, 2026. Candidates can register and fill their choices online at ccmn.admissions.nic.in. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on June 12, 2026.

NIT Silchar Eligibility Criteria 2026
- B.Tech: Candidates must pass Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2024, 2025, or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; secure 75% aggregate (65% for SC/ST/PwD) or top 20% in board exams; qualify JEE Main 2026. No age limit applies.
- M.Tech: Hold B.E./B.Tech or equivalent in relevant field with 60% marks (6.5 CGPA on 10-point scale; 55% or 6.0 CGPA for reserved); valid GATE score from 2024, 2025, or 2026. Final-year students are eligible if their results are out before admission.
- M.Sc: Bachelor's degree (B.Sc) in a relevant science discipline with 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PwD); must qualify IIT JAM 2026 in the appropriate subject like Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics. No work experience required.
- MBA: Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD); valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT 2025 (minimum 50 percentile overall). Final-year graduates are eligible provisionally.
- PhD: Master's degree with 6.5 CPI (6.0 for reserved) or B.Tech with 8.0 CPI (7.5 reserved) from IITs/NITs; GATE/NET/UGC for fellowship group; sponsored/part-time need employer NOC and 2+ years experience.
