The University of Sussex has been named one of the top 10 in the world, while being named as the best in the UK for student mobility, as per the latest rankings.
As per The Argus, a local media outlet, the University of Sussex has been ranked 8th in the Worlds Universities with Real Impact (WURI) 2021 rankings, as a result of its student mobility and openness.
Expressing his delight, Professor Richard Follet, the Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the universitys pride in being recognised as a national and global leader in student mobility and innovation in the higher education sector.

In his statements, he highlighted the benefits the students receive from being part of a global network. The University of Sussex offers immense opportunities, both study and work-wise, across the globe, while also welcoming hordes of students from around the world to pursue their undergraduate and graduate studies at the prestigious university.
Follet continued to highlight the universitys mission and vision of providing international leadership opportunities as well as exposing the students to an international experience while they complete their studies at the university.

Accrediting its success in attracting international students, which include cohorts from the US and Japan, to the universitys culture of flexibility, the University of Sussex emphasised its commitment to support European mobility schemes, now available through the Turing Scheme. The Turing Scheme had been set up by the Government of the United Kingdom, replacing its participation within the EU Erasmus programme.
Additionally, the University of Sussex was also recognised as the 3rd best UK University for innovation, right behind Oxford and Cambridge, within the same study.
