CEED paper analysis of previous years gives an idea about the structuring and difficulty level of exam for the upcoming CEED 2026 exam. The entrance exam for CEED 2026 has been scheduled for January 18, 2026, by the Indian Institute of Technology and students must check the difficulty level with reference to CEED 2025, CEED 2024 and CEED 2023 papers. To summarize, it can be said that CEED has consistently stayed in the moderate to moderately-difficult band. It has been observed that Part A has more analytical and time-pressured questions and Part B includes focused, original sketching rather than extreme complexity.

CEED 2026 Difficulty Level Prediction- Previous Year Papers

Students planning to appear for CEED 2026 must have an idea about CEED 2026 difficulty level, and they can also look at the student feedback and expert analyses of previous years to understand the pattern of CEED and measure the difficulty level.

  • CEED 2025: Difficulty level was moderate; Part A was analytical and lengthy and Part B’s creative tasks required concentration but were supposed to be achievable with practice.
  • CEED 2024: Overall moderate but some questions were tricky. Part A was more on difficult side while Part B was time consuming but doable. Some questions (for example, human–animal interaction using blocks) in part were also tricky.
  • CEED 2023: Paper was moderately difficult; Part A was found difficult by majority of the students, especially NAT/MSQ, while Part B was moderate and more manageable.

CEED Part A Trends: Difficulty Level for CEED 2026

Part A is the computer-based objective section that includes different categories such as NAT, MSQ and MCQ items on subjects like visualization, logic and awareness. Previous years trends from last 3 years suggest:

  • Difficulty level has been moderate to moderately difficult, with NAT and MSQ often the toughest and most time-consuming sections.
  • Questions increasingly have a combination of visual reasoning, 3D rotation, pattern folding, and design-based logic instead of pure GK.
  • Many students found Part A as ‘lengthy’, and you can master if you have better time management skills.

For CEED 2026, you can reasonably expect:

  • The difficult level is expected to be moderate-plus in Part A (not radically harder than 2024-25).
  • A continued focus on visual puzzles, design thinking, logical reasoning, and environmental/social awareness, with low weightage for rote memorisation.

If you regularly practise enough previous CEED papers and learn to skip time-consuming NAT questions quickly, Part A becomes more predictable than it appears.

CEED Part B Trends and What They Mean for 2026

Part B mainly assess your sketching, problem identification, creativity, and communication through 4-5 long questions. As per the recent patterns, one can observe

  • In Previous Years CEED 2023-2025 papers, Part B has been rated easy to moderate or more on the moderate side, but it is clearly time-consuming.
  • In this section, most of the tasks typically include either sketching/scene drawing question, one product or interaction design problem, and one creative/visualisation task.
  • Students observe that the challenge is less about ‘not knowing what to draw’ but it is mainly about planning composition, proportions and annotations within the given time.

For CEED 2026, one must note the following:

  • Part B is likely to stay conceptually moderate, but you must know about the art of time management strictly.
  • The paper will probably continue to have questions which will focus on originality, reward clarity, and neat communication over heavy rendering or hyper-realism.
