Important Tips for Scoring 80+ in GATE 2024

Candidates must follow certain important tips in order to score more than 80 marks in GATE 2024. The following are some of the important things that would help you score 80+ in GATE 2024 Electrical Engineering:

  • Cover the complete GATE 2024 syllabus well ahead of time so that you have adequate time to revise. Avoid skipping chapters or picking and choosing which subject to study.

  • Make sure you pay attention to all of the sections of the exam and don't skip any of the sections. How well you perform in all of GATE's sections will determine your overall score.

  • Set aside some time for revision and go through each topic at least twice.

  • Analyze your strengths and limitations, then create a study plan that focuses on the areas where you are weak.

  • Take the GATE mock testand sample paper once you've finished the syllabus to get a feel for the exam pattern and the kind of questions that will be asked.

  • GATE past year question papers should be studied rigorously. Some of the questions are frequently asked, and solving the GATE Sample papers will help you improve your score.

  • Before the exam, prepare short notes containing formulas, derivations, and relevant information. Go through these notes on a frequent basis to keep them fresh in your mind.

  • Do not try new methods or shortcuts at the last moment. This will confuse you and throw your brain off its track of solving questions.

  • While giving the exam, read the question carefully and understand its meaning. Do not miss out on any important detail given in the question.

  • If you do not know the answer to a question, do not resort to guesswork as that will increase the chances of lowering your score. Since there is a negative marking for all the wrong answers in GATE 2024.

By following these methods, you will most likely get over 80 marks in GATE 2024 if you have prepared well.
