List of Documents Required for Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023: The Karnataka PGCET counselling 2023 has begun on January 16, 2024. The option entry for the first round is being held from January 16 to January 20, 2024. The seat allotment results for the Karnataka PGCET 2023 first-round will be made available on January 20, and candidates can exercise their choices after the first-round seat allotment from January 20-22, 2024. Candidates (Choice 1 and Choice 2) must pay the fees between January 22 to 24 and report to the allotted college by January 25, 2024.

Karnataka PGCET MBA was conducted on September 23 and 24, 2023. The Karnataka PGCET 2023 results were released on November 22, 2023. Candidates who have scored well in the examination will be able to take part in the counselling process of Karnataka PGCET. They will have to register themselves on the official website to participate in the counselling process. 

It should be noted that the counselling process will involve various steps including registration, verification of documents, choice filling, seat allotment, and fee submission. For the document verification round, candidates will have to carry all the documents mentioned on the official website. All the documents required during the Karnataka PGCET Counselling process are provided in this article. Candidates are advised to carry every document/ certificate provided here so that they do not face any kind of difficulties during the counselling process. Documents Required for Karnataka PGCET Counselling

Provided below is the list of all the documents that will be required for Karnataka PGCET counselling. Candidates are advised to carry the original copy as well as at least 2 xeroxes of all the documents/ certificates provided below.

  • Degree Certificate / Provisional Degree Certificate
  • Qualifying Examination Mark Sheet
  • Class 12th Mark Sheet
  • Class 10th Mark Sheet
  • Caste/ Caste Income Certificate
  • Candidate’s Study Certificate
  • Two passport size photograph
  • GATE Scorecard (if applicable)
  • Work experience certificate (in case of working candidates)
  • PGCET Admission ticket/Hall Ticket
  • Study certificate countersigned by BEO as per the format (Only for Karnataka candidates)
  • Printout of the PGCET 2023 application form
  • Sponsored certificate (if applicable)

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Required Documents (If Applicable)

Apart from the documents listed above, candidates will be required to submit some additional documents as listed below. These documents will depend on the program they are applying for admission.

  • Candidates applying for admission in part-time courses will have to submit a work experience letter of 3 years. The work experience letter must have included the date of joining, name of the organization, designation, and  working period
  • Those who are applying for M.Tech based on GATE scores must submit the GATE scorecard
  • Candidates belonging to any reserved category need to submit a Caste Certificate / Income Certificate/ Caste Income Certificate obtained from the concerned Tahasildar
  • Candidates applying for Hyderabad-Karnataka Region (Article 371 (j)) will have to submit the certificate in Annexure – A (eligibility certificate – rule 3(3)) assigned by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification
  • Parent’s Hometown certificate (Parent’s Employment certificate / Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record / Parent’s Marks Card) / Parent’s study certificate for the aspirants claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the study/ (domicile)/(employment) of the parent.

  • Candidates are advised to carry all the documents listed here for the document verification round. If any candidate fails to carry any of the documents, he will not be allowed to participate in the next round of the counselling process
  • Those who have not received the mark sheet of the qualifying examination are advised to submit a document/ certificate signed by the head of the institute claiming that the student has cleared the examination

Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2023: Downloading Allotment Order

Candidates can download the order of seat allotment and pay the admission fee to receive provisional admission after the Karnataka PGCET seat allotment results are made public. The login dashboard is where candidates can print the seat allocation order. The option for paying the entrance fee is also available to candidates. The process for downloading the allotment order and paying the admission fee is mentioned below:
  • Candidates must visit the Karnataka PGCET official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/pgcet.
  • Candidates must then locate and click on the seat allotment order and fee payment.
  • Subsequently, candidates must enter the PGCET application number and other required details.
  • Finally, candidates must click on the Submit button to view the seat allotment order.
