TNEA Random Number 2023 – The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu, released the Random Number of TNEA 2023 on its official website on June 6, 2023. Since the online form submission is over, the subsequent step in the admission process of B.Tech in Tamil Nadu is the generation of a random number. The last date for online uploading of documents was June 9, 2023. Candidates who successfully completed the online registration process of TNEA 2023 are required to sign in using their email address and password to view the unique random number allotted to them by the conducting body. The 10-digit random number is allotted to candidates randomly.

Step 3 | Provide your email address, password and enter the captcha code in the candidate login page |

TNEA Tie Breaking Policy 2023
A tie-breaking policy is applied if two or more candidates secure the same rank or merit. The policy will help DOTE to resolve the tie. The following rules are applied –
Tie Breaker 1 | Candidates with higher marks in Mathematics shall be allocated a higher rank. |
Tie Breaker 2 | If the tie persists, higher marks scored by a candidate in Physics shall be taken into consideration to determine rank/ merit. |
Tie Breaker 3 | If the tie persists after applying the above rules, the candidate with higher marks in the 4th optional subject shall be allocated a higher rank. |
Tie Breaker 4 | If the tie persists after applying the above rules, the Date of Birth of a candidate shall be taken into consideration. Candidates older in age will be allocated a higher rank. |
Tie Breaker 5 | If the tie persists after applying all the above rules, a Random Number will be used to determine the merit. Candidates with a higher value of random number shall be allocated a higher rank. |
What after TNEA Random Number Allocation?
After the allocation of the TNEA Random Number, DOTE began the certificate verification process. The certificate verification process was conducted in online mode. The candidates were able to check their document verification status through the official website of TNEA.
TNEA Rank List 2023
The TNEA rank list 2023 is prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the TNEA 2023 exam. The conducting body reduced marks secured by candidates in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to a base of 200 (Mathematics = 100 and Physics + Chemistry= 100). Candidates could access the TNEA rank list 2023 by logging into the candidate portal with their registered email address and password.
