Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies was established in 1981 and has since grown to become a globally renowned institution. The Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM), recognised for its social concern, decided to meet India's growing demand for management institutes. The University Grants Commission and the Ministry of Education have authorised the institute, and it is accredited by the NAAC and NBA.
