How to get 100 percentile in CAT?

Dear Student,

Getting 100 percentile in CAT is a difficult task but certainly not impossible. You will have to prepare well in order to score 100 percentile. You can follow some of the strategies given below to score 100 percentile in CAT.

• Go through the syllabus of CAT 2020 in detail and pick out the important topics from all the sections.

• Try to solve the maximum number of questions from each topic.

• Check the previous years’ question papers to know what type of questions you can expect in the CAT exam.

• Develop a reading habit to score well in the VARC section. You are advised to read newspapers daily to improve your communication skills.

• Solve at least 1-2 CAT mock test papers in a week

• Try answering a problem within 1 minute. Learning shortcut techniques might help you solve any question quickly. 

Besides this, you are also advised to leave those questions about which you are not confident. It must be noted that scoring 100 percentile is not about attempting all the questions.
