The three new metrics on QS World University Rankings 2024 that have been introduced are:

  • Sustainability: This year 5% weightage has been added to sustainability and it has been introduced to find the crucial role that universities play in mapping the course and manoeuvring changes towards a sustainable future.

  • Employment Outcomes: QS is the only ranking institution that emphasises the importance of employability in its methodology. They have increased the weight of Employer Reputation to 15% and added 5% to Employment Outcomes.

  • International Research Network: This is a metric that recognises the importance of research in the dynamic world.
