Andhra Pradesh DPharm Eligibility 2024

Before applying for DPharm admissions in Andhra Pradesh one must check whether they meet the eligibility or not which is as follows:

• Must have passed intermediate (BI.P.C. or M.P.C.) or 12 years Higher Secondary Education Board Exam of CBSC, ICSE

• Candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics as their main subject.

• Must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh

• Qualifications obtained from Open Schools of any State /National Open Schools under sub-regulation (5) of Regulation 5 of Education Regulations, 1991 are eligible for admission to DPharm Admissions in Andhra Pradesh

Documents Required for Andhra Pradesh DPharm Admission 2024

Given below are the documents that are required for physical document verification process, which is scheduled for November 30, 2024. Candidates are required to report at the help centres at 9 pm along with the original certificates and photocopies of the documents mentioned below. 

1. D.PHARMACY-2024 Rank Card issued by SBTET.
2. S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo
3. Intermediate Memo of Marks-cum-Pass Certificate.
4. VI to Inter Study Certificate OR Residence Certificate (Only required if a candidate has no institutionalized education)
5. Residence Certificate
6. Employer Certificate or Rice Card (Only required for candidates whose parents are working for State or Central Government)
7. Transfer certificate
8. Caste Certificate
9. PH/CAP/NCC/Sports/Minority Certificate  (If Required)
10. EWS certificate valid from 2024 to 2024

Certificates to be submitted by candidates belonging form PH/ CAP / NCC / Sports / Minority Category:

a. PH- Candidates with impairment of 40 % and higher are eligible only. The certificate must be issued by the District Medical Board.

b. CAP- Applicants whose parents are domiciled in Andhra Pradesh are only entitled under the “CAP” Category. They need to submit the Certificate issued by the Zilla Sainik Welfare Board (In the case of ex-servicemen) Identity card and Discharge book.

c. Minorities-  Certificate showing SSC TC with Minority Status or Certificate issued by Headmaster

How to Apply for Andhra Pradesh DPharm Admission 2024

To apply for Andhra Pradesh DPharm admission candidates will have to visit the official website of DTE- Andhra Pradesh and register for the same in online mode. 

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the official website of DTE- Andhra Pradesh and register yourself.

• Fill in all the details by providing all your basic information such as name, father name, category, gender, mobile number, email Id, etc

• After the completion of the registration form, you will receive a Reference ID to your Mobile number, and Link for Activation along with Transaction ID for Online Payment to your Email id 

Step 2: Fill Application Form

• After verifying the email ID and you need to again visit the DTE-AP website.

• Then fill Andhra Pradesh DPharm Application Form by entering all the personal information, past academic records etc.

• After completing the application form upload the scanned documents in .jpg or .jpeg format with size less than 250 KB.

Step 3: Payment

• At last, you need to pay the application fee via Netbanking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

Andhra Pradesh DPharm Selection Process 2024

• The selection of the candidate to DPharm Andhra Pradesh will be done on the basis of centralised counselling.

• Candidates seeking admission to government pharmacy colleges or government seat quota in private pharmacy colleges in Andhra Pradesh must register themselves for the AP Counseling Process.

• The selection of candidates will take place on a merit-based basis on the basis of academic marks secured by the student in the class 12th examination.

• Based on the candidate's marks/ ranking, DTE-Andhra Pradesh will then release a merit list.

• Candidates whose names on the merit list will then need to appear for the Andhra Pradesh D Pharm Counselling Process

Andhra Pradesh DPharm Counselling 2024

Department of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh is responsible for releasing the counselling schedule for DPharm admission. Those candidates who are eligible for DPharm admission and have successfully registered themselves for the same are invited to participate in Andhra Pradesh D Pharm counselling for the verification of documents. Failure to do so can result in the cancellation of admission.

Seat Allotment:-

• After the counselling, the Seat Allotment for Andhra Pradesh DPharm admission will take place on the official website of DTE-AP. 

• Based on the candidates ranking they will be allotted seats in the colleges

• After the completion of the seat allotment candidates will have to download their seat allotment letter and challan form the payment of fees.
