Rayat Bahra University (RBU) is a premier private university, founded in 2014, located in Mohali, Punjab. It was established under the Rayat Bahra Group. Rayat Bahra University spends over Rs 9.5 crore on scholarships each year. UG and PG programs offer merit-based scholarships. The scholarship will be awarded to UG students based on their minimum qualifying grades, while PG students will be awarded a scholarship depending on their academic performance.
- A 50% tuition waiver is given to those students whose even one parent is not alive.
- 25% tuition waiver is given to those with their siblings studying in the Rayat Bahra Group.
- 25% tuition waiver is offered to students securing 1-3 positions in the university. Also, they should have a CGPA more significant than 9.
- For UG courses, if a student secures more than 90% in the qualifying exam, he is liable for a 90% tuition waiver. In addition, the one who secures between 65% and 74.99% is liable for a 25% scholarship.
- For PG courses, if a student secures between 60 and 69.99%, he is liable for a 25% scholarship, while a 90% scholarship is offered to students who get more than 90% in their qualifying exams.
