GATE XL 2026: Are you looking forward to taking admission in IITs through the GATE 2026 exam? If yes, then you must make sure to know all the details about the national-level exam, such as its dates, syllabus, question paper etc. IIT Guwahati is yet to announce the exact GATE XL 2026 exam dates. However, as per the collective exam schedule announced, the GATE will be held on February 7, 8, 14 & 15, 2026. The official GATE XL syllabus has been released and consists of a total of 9 sections, namely Atomic Structure and Periodicity, Structure and Bonding, s, p and d Block Elements, Chemical Equilibria, Electrochemistry, Reaction Kinetics, Thermodynamics, Structure-Reactivity Correlations and Organic Reaction Mechanisms, and Chemistry of Biomolecules. A few days after the conclusion of the exam, the master question paper will be released on the official website of IIT Guwahati. This will be followed by the release of the answer key along with the response sheet. With the help of the answer key, you will be able to get an idea about the marks secured in the GATE 2026 exam .
