Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025 will be published by the Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Goa, in July 2025. The Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025 will be released in a PDF format, in online mode, for all the registered students for the MBBS course and BDS courses. The Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025 features some important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, parents’ details, candidate’s category, etc.
All the qualifying students who made it to the Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025 will become eligible to take part in the Goa NEET Counselling 2025 process. The NEET UG 2025 Exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, and the results were published on June 14, 2025, by the NTA. Students who are permanent residents of Goa and secure a high qualifying NEET UG score 2025 will be placed at the top of the Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025. Out of the total MBBS/BDS seats in Goa, 85% are reserved as state quota seats, while the remaining 15% are reserved as All India Quota(AIQ).

Goa NEET Merit List 2025: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In a situation where two or more students have scored the same NEET 2025 marks, a tie-breaking criterion has been established. Given below is the revised DTE Goa NEET Merit List 2025 Tie-Breaking Criteria :
- Students with higher percentile scores in Biology will be preferred over others, followed by Chemistry and Physics, respectively.
- If the tie still exists, students with an overall lesser number of incorrect answers will be given the preference, followed by a lesser number of incorrect answers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, respectively.
What After Goa NEET UG Merit List 2025?
The Goa NEET 2025 Merit List will be based solely on the student’s NEET UG 2025 marks. Medical and dental colleges in Goa will offer admissions to MBBS and BDS seats based on this merit list. Of these seats, 85% are reserved for state quota students, while the remaining 15% are reserved for the All India Quota (AIQ). Students named on the merit list will be able to participate in the Goa MBBS counselling 2025.
