The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Goa, will publish the Goa NEET UG Merit list 2024. The Goa NEET UG Merit list 2024 will be released in a PDF format, in the online mode for all the registered candidates for MBBS course and BDS course. The Goa NEET UG Merit list 2024 will feature some important details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, date of birth, their parents’ details, candidate’s category and nationality, their NEET UG 2024 score and qualifying status, etc. among others. All the qualifying candidates who made it to the Goa NEET UG Merit List 2024 will become eligible for taking part in the Goa NEET Counselling 2024 process. Goa NEET Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In a situation where two or more candidates have scored the same NEET 2024 marks, a tie-breaking criteria has been established. As per the recent notification by National Medical Commission (NMC), the NEET 2024 Tie Breaking Criteria has been revised. Thus, given below is the revised Goa NEET Merit List 2024 Tie-Breaking Criteria :
- Candidates with higher percentile score in Biology will be preferred over others followed by Chemistry and Physics respectively.
- If the tie still exists, students with an overall lesser number of incorrect answers will be given the preference followed by a lesser number of incorrect answers in Biology, Chemistry and Physics respectively.
