MBBS Admission Through NEET UG 2024 1 to 500 Ranks for AIQ and State Quota Seats

MBBS admission through NEET counselling 2024 will be conducted for two types of seats – the All India Quota (AIQ) seats and State Quota seats. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) conducts the counselling for the 15% AIQ seats on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Under this quota, 15% of the total medical seats in government colleges are filled by students from all over the country.

The remaining 85% of seats fall under the State Quota, wherein students are granted admission to NEET colleges in their domicile states. The State Quota counselling is conducted by the respective state authorities. Besides this, the authorities also grant admission to some private colleges in the states.
