Bihar NEET 2020 cutoff for 15% AIQ and 85% State Quota seats will be released soon. With the declaration of NEET result, over 15 lakh aspirants are now waiting for the cutoff lists to release and the commencement of the counselling process. DGHS and Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board will be posting the AIQ and State Quota cutoff list respectively on the official website. Candidates will be able to access the lists in online mode only.

Factors Affecting Bihar NEET Cutoff 2020 - 85% State Quota and 15% AIQ

These are the factors upon which, NEET 2020 cutoff for Bihar admissions depends. Candidates must have a look at the points below.

  • Total no. of students participated in the exam

  • The difficult level of NEET question papers

  • Total no. of available seats for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Bihar medical/ dental colleges

  • Marks gained by candidates in NEET examination

Bihar NEET 2020 Cutoff for 15% (AIQ) All India Quota Seats

The DGHS (The Directorate General of Health Services), on the behalf of MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) is responsible to publish the 15 per cent AIQ cutoff list for Bihar admissions. The state has a total of 168 seats to offer under the All India Quota across different medical and dental colleges. For candidates belonging to ST, SC and OBC categories, there will be a provision of additional reservation of seats. The cutoff list will mention the NEET scores and All India NEET ranks that one must have obtained to make to the admission process of top Govt. medical/ dental colleges in the state. 

Bihar NEET 2020 Cutoff for 85% State Quota Quota Seats

The authority responsible to publish NEET 2020 cutoff for 85 per cent State Quota seats in Bihar is BCECEB (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board). The state has about 782 MBBS seats to offer under State Quota. To get admission in these seats, one must be holding a Domicile Certificate proving their nativity to Bihar. However, the state, along with Kerala, Haryana, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu has allowed applicants from other states to register for Private seats in this state. 

Just like All India Quota cutoff, the State Quota cutoff for Bihar will also include additional reservations for candidates belonging to the following categories:

  • Extremely Backward Class (EWC)
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST)
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • Reserved Category Girls (RCG)
  • Backward Class (BC)
