MHT CET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines/ Instructions -The MHT CET 2024 exam (PCB) will be held on April 22, 23, 24, 28, 29 and 30, 2024. The MHT CET 2024 (PCM) will be conducted on May 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17, 2024. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a state-level undergraduate entrance test conducted for candidates willing to take admission to B Tech courses and B Pharma courses in various colleges across the state of Maharashtra. Candidates willing to appear for the MHT CET 2024 article are required to maintain certain guidelines to appear for the examination. These guidelines will guide the candidates to carry the required essentials into the exam hall and things that are prohibited. Other protocols have to be followed to be eligible for the MHT CET 2024 exam hall. In this article, we will discuss the MHT CET 2024 exam day guidelines and instructions that the candidates will have to religiously follow on the exam day.

MHT CET 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Listed below are some of the important exam day guidelines that the candidates must follow for the MHT CET 2024 exam:

1. Do Not Forget Your MHT CET 2024 Admit Card

All candidates must carry the MHT CET admit card 2024 to the examination hall. Without an admit card, no candidates will be allowed to sit in the exam. Hence, it is advisable to download at least 3-4 copies of your MHT CET admit card 2024 and keep it carefully for your exam. Also, remember to bring only the hard copies of the admit card of MHT CET 2024 to the exam centres.

2. Always carry a valid Photo Identity Card

Just like the MHT CET admit card 2024, the candidates must also bring a valid photo identity card to the MHT CET 2024 exam hall. Only after the verification of the photo identity card will the students be allowed for the exam. You can carry an Adhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, or any other government-issued identity to the exam.

3. Be on Time

DO NOT be late for the exam. There are various pre-examination activities that the candidates will have to attend such as document verification, seating arrangements, etc. Thus, It is always advisable to reach the exam centre at least half & an hour before the prescribed time.

4. Check your Seating Arrangements

When you reach the MHT CET 2024 exam hall, the very first thing you must do id to check your seating arrangements. checking your seating plan at the last minute can be hectic as there will be a large number of students waiting for it. This can also make you late for the exam. So, to avoid wasting your time. Always check your seating arrangement in advance.

5. Adhere to the Invigilator Instructions

Carefully listen to the instructions given by the invigilator and follow them. Not listening to the instructions can lead to confusion and you may miss out on something important. In case of any doubt, do not hesitate to ask the exam invigilator.

6. Do not Cheat in Exam

Do not indulge in any bad practices such as cheating, peeking into other’s systems, etc. This may lead to the cancellation of your exam. Focus on your own paper.

7. Use a sheet for Rough Work

Always use your rough sheet to do the calculations. Do not bring your own sheet or write anywhere else. Only use the sheets provided by the exam invigilator.

MHT CET 2024 Documents Required

There are certain documents that the candidates must bring to the MHT CET 2024 exam hall. The documents will be verified by the exam invigilator before allowing the candidates to sit for the MHT CET 2024 exam. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed for the test. Thus, make sure you pack all the given documents a day before the MHT CET 2024 exam:

  1. MHT CET 2024 Admit Card

  2. A government-issued valid photo identity card which can be either of the following:

  • Student Identity Card

  • Driving license

  • Aadhaar card

  • Passport

  • PAN card

Voter ID

MHT CET Dress Code 2024

All entrance examinations follow specific rules and regulations. The dress code of the MHT CET exam is crucial for the candidates appearing for the MHT CET exam and it must be followed to avoid any problems. 

The dress code for MHT CET 2024 is as follows. 

  • Candidates must wear a face mask. 
  • Candidates must not wear metal-containing and metallic clothes or accessories. 
  • Candidates must refrain from wearing any jewellery during the exam. 
  • Wearing a cap is not permitted. 
  • Neither analogue nor digital watches are permitted inside the MHT CET exam hall. 
  • It will be better if candidates refrain from wearing clothes with full sleeves. 
  • Layers of clothing and informal clothes should be avoided. 
  • Shoes such as closed footwear must not be worn to the exam. 

MHT CET Prohibited Items 2024

The items that are not allowed inside the MHT CET 2024 examination hall have been listed below. The candidates must refrain from bringing these items to the MHT CET exam hall at any cost. The prohibited items are as follows. 

  • Electronic gadgets such as mobiles or tabs and electronic items like pen drives, earphones or health bands
  • Stationery items except for the pen that’s to be used during the exam 
  • Water bottles, except the transparent ones. 
  • Food items 
  • Personal belongings such as bags or wallets

Note: People with medical issues can carry the medicines required, but they need to get an approved permission beforehand.
