GPAT PG Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2025

The All India Council for Technical Education has released the GPAT 2025 eligibility criteria for the upcoming academic session. All students appearing for the GPAT exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria to be eligible for admission to a course and college of their choice. • PG Scholarship through AICTE for GPAT will only be applicable for the Master’s in Pharmacy courses.
• Applicants who have qualified for the GPAT 2025 and have taken admissions based on GPAT 2025 alone will be eligible for the scholarship. In other words, admissions taken to the M.Pharm course before or after the validity period of GPAT will not be eligible for the scholarship.
• Applicants who do not receive any other kind of scholarship or compensation such as salary, stipend, or its equivalent will not be eligible for the scholarship programme.
• Foreign applicants and those who have taken admission through sponsorship or under management quota are not eligible for the scholarship.
• Applicants admitted to all full-time courses, i.e. excluding all part-time courses, will be eligible for the scholarship scheme.
• Applicants who qualified for GPAT 2025 under the OBC reservation category will not be eligible for the scholarship. Those qualified under the SC/ST/OBC (NCL) and Physically Handicapped categories without authentic certificates for the same will also not be eligible for the scholarship.

GPAT PG Scholarship 2025 Application Process

To apply for the GPAT PG Scholarship 2025, follow these steps:

Step 1: Fill out your details on the Student Portal at the institute’s website, including your GPAT score, personal information, and bank details.

Step 2: Once submitted, you cannot edit or delete any information. The status will show as "Verification Awaited by Institute."

Step 3: After the institute verifies your data, you can check your attendance, which is required for the scholarship.

Step 4: Any new information you add will be verified again by the institute.

Step 5: After all data is verified, applications will undergo shortlisting, leading to the approval of the PG Scholarship for GPAT 2025 qualified candidates.

Documents Required for GPAT PG Scholarship 2025

For those who have qualified for the GPAT 2025 examination and aspire to avail of the PG scholarship offered by AICTE, you will be required to present the documents mentioned below to avail of the GPAT Scholarship 2025. • A scanned copy of your GPAT 2025 scorecard

• A scanned copy of the first page of your bank passbook, which should contain all the details of the beneficiary along with the name of the bank and its IFS Code.

• A Scanned Copy of the candidate’s Aadhar Card

For the Reserved category:

• Scanned copy of the respective reserved category.

• OBC-NCL candidates must display a credible OBC non-creamy layer certificate which has been issued less than a year ago.

• SC/St/PwD/OBC (NCL) category candidates must present the documents in support of their categories, which shall be attested by the Institute’s principal or a gazetted officer.

• Reserved category candidates must present the certificates in Hindi or English. Otherwise, they must get the certificate translated by a notary office or by the Institute’s Principal, as mentioned on the Institute letterhead. In cases of translation, the original and the translated documents need to be uploaded.

• Other Documents that are to be submitted, must be self-attested by the candidates seeking the scholarship.

Important Note: All Documents need to be legible and clear for a candidate to be accepted by the council.

GPAT 2025 PG Scholarship General Guidelines and Information

Here are some of the GPAT 2025 scholarship general guidelines and information that has been outlined by AICTE for the PG Scholarship admissions:

Duration of the GPAT PG Scholarship Scheme 2025

The GPAT-qualified applicants who have applied for the GPAT PG scholarship scheme 2025 will be able to avail of this scholarship for 24 months. AICTE outlines that the scholarship will be applicable for the entire duration of the course as specified by the college for the respective course.

Note: The duration of the PG scholarship 2025 for GPAT qualified candidates will, under no circumstances, be extended beyond the official duration of the course, i.e. from the commencement date of classes to the date of conclusion of the classes or 24 months, whichever is lower.

Rate of GPAT PG Scholarship 2025

Once you have been selected for the scholarship, the rate of the GPAT PG scholarship 2025, which has been outlined by AICTE, dictates that you will be eligible for a scholarship of ₹12,400 every month for the entire specified duration of the course.

Note: The rates of the PG scholarship 2025 for GPAT will be specified by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and are also subject to change as per requirement from time to time. An official notification regarding the same will be released by the Ministry as and when required.

Student Undertaking for GPAT PG Scholarship 2025

Any student who wishes to undertake the GPAT 2025 PG Scholarship Scheme should fill out the application form well before the deadline. This commitment should serve as a guarantee that the student will never, ever drop out of the course in the middle of it. Additionally, students who withdraw from the course in the middle of the session will have to reimburse the full amount that was taken out at the time of withdrawal.

Student Behaviour

Students who have been selected for the GPAT PG Scholarship 2025, must ensure that they are at their best behaviour. Students who are caught for misbehaviour and misdemeanour during their course will have their scholarship discontinued, immediately.

Students who have availed of the GPAT PG scholarship scheme offered by AICTE must note that the payment mode, as well as the procedure, will be controlled by AICTE. Terms and Conditions for GPAT Scholarship 2025

• Applicants who qualify for the GPAT 2025 exam after the admission window is closed will not be considered eligible.
• Any admissions before or after the GPAT 2025 score validity will not be considered for granting a GPAT scholarship.
• PG Scholarship is not valid for students who have passed this entrance examination for the second time based on clearing the GPAT exam again.
• Foreign applicants sponsored students, and applicants admitted to PG programmes through the management quota will not be considered for the Scholarship.
• The applicant must not be receiving any other scholarship, emoluments, grant, stipend, or salary of any kind from any other contributor during the span of their course.
• The applicants will be required to submit an agreement specifying that they will not quit the course before its official completion. If they happen to do so, they will be required to repay the complete scholarship amount drawn before discontinuing the course.
• Applicants will be required to submit the details of a functioning bank account that is registered in their name. Details of joint bank accounts will not be permitted.
• Those applicants who have qualified under SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped category criteria but do not have a certificate to support are also not eligible for the scholarship.
