The SBI Asha Scholarship Program 2023 is an initiative of the SBI Foundation's education vertical, Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). The SBI Foundation scholarship offers financial assistance to deserving students from low-income families all over India in order for them to continue their education. PAN India students studying in classes 6 to 12 with an annual family income of less than 3 Lakh can apply for SBI Scholarship 2023. Students must have a minimum of 75% in the previous academic year.

1. These Asha scholarships are available only for students:

• Enrolled in their first year of undergraduate studies at one of the top NIRF universities/colleges  (for SBI Foundation Scholarship Program for Undergraduate/IIT Courses)
• Enrolled in the first year of an MBA/PGDM program at a top IIM  (for SBI Foundation Scholarship for IIM Students )
• Enrolled in the first year of a PhD programme at an renowned institute (for SBI Foundation Scholarship for PhD Students)

2. Applicants must have an overall grade point average of at least 75% in:

• Class 12th (for SBI Foundation Scholarship Program for Undergraduate/IIT Courses 2023)
• Graduation (for SBI Foundation Scholarship for IIM Students 2023)
• Post-graduation (for SBI Foundation Scholarship for PhD Students 2023)

3. All students enrolled in Class 6th-12th currently are eligible.

4. The applicant's total annual family income from all sources cannot exceed INR 3,00,000.

5. Only PAN India students are eligible to apply for the SBI Foundation Scholarship.

6. Applicants applying for SBI Scholarship 2023 for PhD Students have to perform research in areas such as Cybersecurity, New Payment Models, Innovative Finance Mechanisms, Intellectual Property Rights, Microfinance And Credit Linkage, Policy Reform That Promote Financial Inclusion, Last-Mile Access To Digital Banking With Financial Services, and so on.

• Click on "Apply Now." by scrolling down under the SBI Asha Scholarship Program. 
• When you click on it, a small box will appear which will ask you to sign in using an Email/Mobile Number/Gmail account.
• Applicants who have already registered on buddy4study can directly log in. Otherwise, click the "Register" button.
• When you click "Register," a new page will appear.
• Enter your name, phone number, valid email address and all the required details along with a unique password. Then click the Register button.
• The applicant needs to verify their phone number and email address using the OTP.
• Following that, the applicant will be directed to the SBI Scholarship 2023 application form page.
• Click on "Start Application" to open the real application form for SBI Asha Scholarship.
• On the following page, applicants must enter the necessary details and then upload  all the documents required.
• Accept the Terms and Conditions after carefully reading them.
• If all of the information displayed is correct and in the proper format, click the "Submit" button to complete the application.

SBI Asha Scholarship Program Application Status

Students can follow the steps provided below to check the SBI Asha Scholarship Program 2023 Application Status:

• Visit the official website of Buddy4Study.
• Login using your registered mobile number/email and password.
• After that click on the applied scholarship tab which is present on the right side of the page.
• A new window will open, which will show you the status of your application.
• If your application is completed and verified then the status will show Successfully Submitted and if it isn’t it will show Pending.
• As soon as the status changes to successfully submitted and the verification is done, the total scholarship money will be transferred to the provided bank account.

SBI Asha Scholarship Program Selection Procedure

The SBI Scholarship 2023 selection process will include a preliminary shortlisting of applications, as well as academic merit and financial background. Applicants will also have to take part in a phone interview, which will be followed by a document verification ground.
