IIT Placements 2024-25:The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) have long been a beacon of engineering excellence in India and worldwide. • IIT Kharagpur received more than 1000 job offers from different sectors like banking, trading, software, analytics, finance, consulting firms, and more. A total of 800 PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) were provided on the first day of the IIT Kharagpur placement drive.
• In the first phase of placements for IIT Kanpur 2024-25 placements, a total of 579 offers were provided on Day 1. 13 international offers, and 523 placements were provided in combinations of PPO (Pre Placement Offers) and campus placements.
• The placement in IIT Madras is still underway and 50% of the students got placed. More than 1000 students got their job letters.
• IIT Bombay recruitment increased by 7.7%. Over 364 companies offered 1475 jobs through the placement. However, there was a drop in the lowest package; earlier, the lowest average package was 6 LPA, which dropped to 4 LPA.
• IIT BHU got 960 placement offers and the highest package of 1.65 CPA, whereas 399 internship offers were given from global recruiters. A total of 1560 candidates registered for the IIT BHU 2024-25 placement.
• IIT Roorkee received a total of 607 job offers, of which 603 were domestic offers and the remaining were international offers.
• IIT Guwahati got 891 pre-placement offers, of which 818 students accepted the jobs and got the job letters
• IIT Roorkee placements are underway and the data for the placement is yet to be released. However, based on the previous placements, the number of students placed will increase in 2024–25 and get an average salary between 15 LPA and 3 CPA

The students get jobs from the campus by applying to the placement procedure. The campus placement begins with the creation of a placement cell for the college.
